And We did certainly give Moses the Torah and followed up after him with messengers. And We gave Jesus, the son of Mary, clear proofs and supported him with the Pure Spirit. But is it [not] that every time a messenger came to you, [O Children of Israel], with what your souls did not desire, you were arrogant? And a party [of messengers] you denied and another party you killed.
Hum ney ( hazrat ) musa ko kitab di aur inn kay peechay aur rasool bhejay aur hum ney ( hazrat ) essa ibn-e-marium ko roshan daleelen din aur rooh-ul-qudus say unn ki taeed kerwaee. Lekin jab kabhi tumharay pass rasool woh cheez laye jo tumhari tabiyaton kay khilaf thi tum ney jhat say takabbur kiya pus baaz ko to jhutla diya aur baaz ko qatal bhi ker dala.
और हमने मूसा को किताब दी और उसके बाद पै-दर-पै रसूल भेजे और ईसा बिन मरियम को खुली-खुली निशानियाँ दीं और रूहुल-क़ुद्स से उसकी ताईद की, तो जब भी कोई रसूल तुम्हारे पास वह चीज़ ले कर आया जिसको तुम्हारा दिल नहीं चाहता था तो तुमने तकब्बुर किया, फिर एक जमात को झुटलाया, और एक जमात को मार डाला।
Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. Among them were those to whom Allah spoke, and He raised some of them in degree. And We gave Jesus, the Son of Mary, clear proofs, and We supported him with the Pure Spirit. If Allah had willed, those [generations] succeeding them would not have fought each other after the clear proofs had come to them. But they differed, and some of them believed and some of them disbelieved. And if Allah had willed, they would not have fought each other, but Allah does what He intends.
Yeh rasool hain jin mein say hum ney baaz ko baaz per fazilat di hai inn mein say baaz woh hain jin say Allah Taalaa ney baat cheet ki hai aur baaz kay darjay buland kiye hain aur hum ney essa bin marium ko moajzaat ata farmaye aur rooh-ul-qudus say unn ki taeed ki. Agar Allah Taalaa chahata to unn kay baad aaney walay apney pass daleel aajaney kay baad hegiz aapas mein laraee bhiraee na kertay lekin unn logon ney ikhtilaf kiya inn mein say baaz to momin huye aur baaz kafir aur agar Allah Taalaa chahata to yeh aapas mein na lartay lekin Allah Taalaa jo chahata hai kerta hai.
उन पैग़म्बरों में से बअज़ को हमने बअज़ पर फ़ज़ीलत दी, उनमें से बअज़ से अल्लाह ने कलाम किया और बअज़ के दरजात बुलंद किए, और हमने ईसा बिन मरियम (अलै॰) को खुली निशानियाँ दीं, और हमने उनकी मदद की रूहुल-क़ुदुस (जिब्राईल) से, अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो आपस में न लड़ते उनके बाद आने वाले बाद इसके कि उनके पास खुली निशानियाँ आ चुकीं, मगर उन्होंने इख़्तिलाफ़ किया, फिर उनमें से कोई ईमान लाया और किसी ने इनकार किया, और अगर अल्लाह चाहता तो वे न लड़ते, मगर अल्लाह करता है जो वह चाहता है।
And [for] their saying, "Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allah ." And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.
Aur yun kehney kay baees kay hum ney Allah kay rasool maseeh essa bin marium ko qatal ker diya halankay na to enhon ney ussay qatal kiya na sooli charhaya bulkay inn kay liye unn ( essa ) ki shabeeh bana diya gaya tha. Yaqeen jano kay hazrat essa ( alh-e-salam ) kay baray mein ikhtilaf kerney walay unn kay baray mein shak mein hain unhen iss ka koi yaqeen nahi ba-juz takhmeeni baaton per amal kerney kay itna yaqeeni hai kay enhon ney unhen qatal nahi kiya.
और उनके यह कहने पर कि हमने मसीह ईसा बिन मरियम (अलैहिमस्सलाम) अल्लाह के रसूल को क़त्ल कर दिया, हालाँकि उन्होंने न उनको क़त्ल किया और न उनको सूली दी बल्कि मामला उनके लिए मुश्तबह कर दिया गया, और जो लोग इसमें इख़्तिलाफ़ कर रहे हैं वे उनके बारे में शक में पड़े हुए हैं, उनको इसका कोई इल्म नहीं सिवाए इसके कि वे सिर्फ़ अंदाज़ों पर चल रहे हैं, और बेशक उन्होंने उनको क़त्ल नहीं किया।
They have certainly disbelieved who say that Allah is Christ, the son of Mary. Say, "Then who could prevent Allah at all if He had intended to destroy Christ, the son of Mary, or his mother or everyone on the earth?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. He creates what He wills, and Allah is over all things competent.
Yaqeenan woh log kafir hogaye jinhon ney kaha kay Allah hi maseeh ibn-e-mariyum hai aap inn say keh dijiye kay agar Allah maseeh ibn-e-marium aur uss ki walida aur ruy-e-zamin kay sab logon ko halak ker dena chahaye to kaun hai jo Allah Taalaa per kuch bhi ikhtiyar rakhta ho? Aasmanon-o-zamin aur dono kay darmiyan ka kul mulk Allah Taalaa hi ka hai woh jo chahata hai peda kerta hai aur Allah Taalaa her cheez per qadir hai.
बेशक उन लोगों ने कुफ़्र किया जिन्होंने कहा कि अल्लाह ही तो मसीह बिन मरियम है, आप कह दीजिए कि फिर कौन इख़्तियार रखता है अल्लाह के आगे किसी भी चीज़ का अगर वह चाहे कि हलाक कर दे मसीह बिन मरियम को और उनकी माँ को और जितने लोग ज़मीन में हैं सबको, और अल्लाह ही के लिए है बादशाही आसमानों और ज़मीन की और जो कुछ उनके दरमियान है, वह पैदा करता है जो कुछ चाहता है, और अल्लाह हर चीज़ पर क़ादिर है।
[The Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, remember My favor upon you and upon your mother when I supported you with the Pure Spirit and you spoke to the people in the cradle and in maturity; and [remember] when I taught you writing and wisdom and the Torah and the Gospel; and when you designed from clay [what was] like the form of a bird with My permission, then you breathed into it, and it became a bird with My permission; and you healed the blind and the leper with My permission; and when you brought forth the dead with My permission; and when I restrained the Children of Israel from [killing] you when you came to them with clear proofs and those who disbelieved among them said, "This is not but obvious magic."
Jab kay Allah Taalaa irshad farmaye ga kay aey essa bin marium mera inam yaad kero jo tum per aur tumhari walida per hua hai jab mein ney tumhen rooh-ul-quddus say taeed di. Tum logon say kalaam kertay thay godd mein bhi aur bari umar mein bhi aur jabkay mein ney tum ko kitab aur hikmat ki baaten aur toraat aur injeel ki taleem di aur jab kay tum meray hukum say gaaray say aik shakal banatay thay jaisay parinday ki shakal hoti hai phir tum iss kay andar phoonk maar detay thay jiss say woh parind bann jata tha meray hukum say aur tum acha ker detay thay maadar zaad andhay ko aur korhi ko meray hukum say aur jab kay tum murdon ko nikal khara ker letay thay meray hukum say aur jab kay mein ney bani israeel ko tum say baaz rakha jab tum unn kay pass daleelen ley ker aaye thay phir unn mein jo kafir thay unhon ney kaha tha kay ba-juz khullay jadoo kay yeh aur kuch bhi nahi.
जब अल्लाह कहेगाः ऐ ईसा बिन मरियम! मेरी उस नेमत को याद करो जो मैंने तुम पर और तुम्हारी माँ पर की, जबकि मैंने रूहुल-क़ुद्स से तुम्हारी मदद की, तुम लोगों से बात करते थे गोद में भी और बड़ी उम्र में भी, और जब मैंने तुमको किताब और हिकमत और तौरात व इंजील की तालीम दी, और जब तुम बनाते थे मिट्टी से परिंदे जैसी सूरत मेरे हुक्म से फिर उस में फूँक मारते थे तो वे मेरे हुक्म से परिंदा बन जाती थी, और तुम अंधे और कोढ़ी को मेरे हुक्म से अच्छा कर देते थे, और जब तुम मुर्दों को मेरे हुक्म से निकाल खड़ा करते थे, और जब मैंने बनी-इस्राईल को तुम से रोका जबकि तुम उनके पास खुली निशानियाँ लेकर आए तो उनमें से काफ़िरों ने कहा कि यह तो बस एक खुला हुआ जादू है।
[And remember] when the disciples said, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, can your Lord send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven? [Jesus] said," Fear Allah , if you should be believers."
Woh waqt yaad kay qabil hai jab kay hawariyon ney arz kiya kay essa bin marium! Kiya aap ka rab aisa ker sakta hai kay hum per aasman say aik khuwaan nazil farma dey? Aap ney farmaya Allah say daro agar tum eman laye ho.
जब हवारियों ने कहा कि ऐ ईसा बिन मरियम! क्या आपका रब यह कर सकता है कि हम पर आसमान से एक दस्तरख़्वान उतारे, ईसा (अलै॰) ने फ़रमायाः अल्लाह से डरो अगर तुम ईमान वाले हो।
And [beware the Day] when Allah will say, "O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, 'Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah ?'" He will say, "Exalted are You! It was not for me to say that to which I have no right. If I had said it, You would have known it. You know what is within myself, and I do not know what is within Yourself. Indeed, it is You who is Knower of the unseen.
Aur woh waqt bhi qabil-e-ziker hai jab kay Allah Taalaa farmaye ga kay aey essa ibn-e-marium kiya tum ney inn logon say keh diya tha kay mujh ko aur meri maa ko bhi ilawa Allah kay mabood qarar dey lo! Essa arz keren gay kay mein to tujh ko munza samajhta hun mujh ko kissi tarah zeba na tha kay mein aisi baat kehta jiss ka kehney ka mujh ko koi haq nahi agar mein ney kaha hoga to tujh ko iss ka ilm hoga. Tu to meray dil kay andar ki baat bhi janta hai aur mein teray nafs mein jo kuch hai uss ko nahi janta. Tamam ghaibon ka jannay wala tu hi hai.
और जब अल्लाह पूछेगा कि ऐ ईसा बिन मरियम! क्या तुमने लोगों को कहा था कि मुझको और मेरी माँ को अल्लाह के सिवा माबूद बना लो? वे जवाब देंगे कि (ऐ रब) आप तो पाक हैं, मेरा यह काम न था कि मैं वह बात कहूँ जिसका मुझे कोई हक़ नहीं, अगर मैंने यह कहा होगा तो आपको ज़रूर मालूम होगा, आप जानते हैं जो मेरे जी में है और मैं नहीं जानता जो आपके जी में है, बेशक आप ही तो छुपी बातों को जानने वाले हैं।
And when Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved, he said, "How wretched is that by which you have replaced me after [my departure]. Were you impatient over the matter of your Lord?" And he threw down the tablets and seized his brother by [the hair of] his head, pulling him toward him. [Aaron] said, "O son of my mother, indeed the people oppressed me and were about to kill me, so let not the enemies rejoice over me and do not place me among the wrongdoing people."
Aur jab musa ( alh-e-salam ) apni qom ki taraf wapis aaye gussay aur ranj mein bharay huye to farmaya kay tum ney meray baad yeh bari buri janasheeni ki? Kiya apney rab kay hukum say pehlay hi tum ney jald baazi ker li aur jaldi say takhtiyan aik taraf rakhin aur apney bhai kay sir pakar ker unn ko apni taraf ghaseetney lagay. Haroon ( alh-e-salam ) ney kaha aey meray maa jaye! Inn logon ney mujh ko bey haqeeqat samjha aur qareeb tha kay mujh ko qatal ker dalen to tum mujh per dushmanon ko mat hansao aur mujh ko inn zalimon kay zail mein mat shumar kero.
और जब मूसा (अलै॰) रंज और ग़ुस्से में भरे हुए अपनी क़ौम की तरफ़ लौटे तो उन्होंने कहाः तुमने मेरे बाद मेरी बहुत बुरी जानशीनी की, क्या तुमने अपने रब के हुक्म से पहले ही जल्दी कर ली? और उसने तख़्तियाँ डाल दीं और वे अपने भाई का सर पकड़ कर उसको अपनी तरफ़ ख़ींचने लगे, हारून (अलै॰) ने कहाः ऐ मेरी माँ के बेटे! लोगों ने मुझे कमज़ोर समझा था और क़रीब था कि वे मुझको मार डालें, पस आप दुश्मनों को मेरे ऊपर हँसने का मौक़ा न दें और मुझको ज़ालिमों के साथ शामिल न करें।
They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah , and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.
Inn logon ney Allah ko chor ker apney aalimon aur darwishon ko apna rab banaya hai aur marium kay betay maseeh ko halankay unhen sirf aik akelay Allah hi ki ibadat ka hukum diya gaya tha jiss kay siwa koi mabood nahi woh pak hai unn kay shareek muqarrar kerney say.
उन्होंने अल्लाह के सिवा अपने उलमा और मशाइख़ को रब बना डाला और मसीह बिन मरियम को भी; हालाँकि उनको सिर्फ़ यह हुक्म था कि वे एक माबूद की इबादत करें, उसके सिवा कोई माबूद नहीं, वह पाक है उस शिर्क से जो वे करते हैं।
And We made the son of Mary and his mother a sign and sheltered them within a high ground having level [areas] and flowing water.
Hum ney ibn-e-marium aur uss ki walida ko aik nishani banaya aur unn dono ko buland saaf qarar wali aur jari pani wali jagah mein panah di.
और मरयम के बेटे और उस की माँ को हम ने एक निशानी बनाया। और हम ने उन्हें रहने योग्य स्रोतबाली ऊँची जगह शरण दी,
