They said, "O Hud, you have not brought us clear evidence, and we are not ones to leave our gods on your say-so. Nor are we believers in you.
Unhon ney kaha aey hood! Tu humaray pass koi daleel to laya nahi aur hum sirf teray kehney say apney maboodon ko chorney walay nahi aur na hum tujh per eman laney walay hain.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ हूद! तुम हमारे पास कोई खुली निशानी लेकर नहीं आए हो, और हम तुम्हारे कहने से अपने माबूदों को छोड़ने वाले नहीं हैं, और हम हरगिज़ तुमको मानने वाले नहीं हैं।
They said, "O Salih, you were among us a man of promise before this. Do you forbid us to worship what our fathers worshipped? And indeed we are, about that to which you invite us, in disquieting doubt."
Unhon ney kaha aey saleh! Iss say pehlay to hum tujh say boht kuch umeeden lagaye huye thay kiya tu humen unn ki ibadaton say rok raha hai jinki ibadat humaray baap dada kertay chalay aaye humen to iss deen mein heyran kun shaq hai jiss ki taraf tu humen bula raha hai.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ सालेह! इससे पहले हमको तुमसे उम्मीद थी, क्या तुम हमको उनकी इबादत से रोकते हो जिनकी इबादत हमारे बाप-दादा करते थे, और जिस चीज़ की तरफ़ तुम हमको बुलाते हो उसके बारे में हमको सख़्त शुब्हा है, और हम बड़े शक में हैं।
And certainly did Our messengers come to Abraham with good tidings; they said, "Peace." He said, "Peace," and did not delay in bringing [them] a roasted calf.
Aur humaray bhejay huye payghaamber ibrahim kay pass khushkhabri ley ker phonchay aur salam kaha unhon ney bhi jawab-e-salam diya aur baghair kissi takheer kay gaye ka bhuna hua bachra ley aaye.
और इब्राहीम (अलै॰) के पास हमारे फ़रिश्ते ख़ुश-ख़बरी लेकर आए (और) कहा कि तुम पर सलामती हो, इब्राहीम (अलै॰) ने कहाः तुम पर भी सलामती हो, फिर देर न गुज़री कि इब्राहीम एक भुना हुआ बछड़ा ले आए।
But when he saw their hands not reaching for it, he distrusted them and felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not. We have been sent to the people of Lot."
Abb jo dekha kay unn kay hath bhi uss ki taraf nahi phonch rahey to unn say ajnabiyat mehsoos ker kay dil hi dil mein unn say khof kerney lagay unhon ney kaha darro nahi hum to qom-e-loot ki taraf bhejay huye aaye hain.
फिर जब देखा कि उनके हाथ खाने की तरफ़ नहीं बढ़ रहे हैं तो खटक गए और दिल ही दिल में उन से डरे, उन्होंने कहा कि डरो नहीं हम लूत (अलै॰) की क़ौम की तरफ़ भेजे गए हैं।
They said, "You have already known that we have not concerning your daughters any claim, and indeed, you know what we want."
Unhon ney jawab diya kay tu bakhoobi janta hai kay humen to teri betiyon per koi haq nahi hai aur tu humari asli chahat say bakhoobi waqif hai.
उन्होंने कहाः तुम जानते हो कि हमको तुम्हारी बेटियों से कुछ ग़र्ज़ नहीं और तुम जानते हो कि हम क्या चाहते हैं।
The angels said, "O Lot, indeed we are messengers of your Lord; [therefore], they will never reach you. So set out with your family during a portion of the night and let not any among you look back - except your wife; indeed, she will be struck by that which strikes them. Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near?"
Abb farishton ney kaha aey loot! Hum teray perwerdigar kay bhejay huye hain na mumkin hai kay yeh tujh tak phonch payen pus tu apney ghar walon ko ley ker kuch raat rahey nikal khara ho. Tum mein say kissi ko murr ker bhi na dekhna chahaiye ba-juz teri biwi kay iss liye kay ussay bhi wohi phonchney wala hai jo inn sab ko phonchay ga yaqeenan inn kay waday ka waqt subha ka hai kiya subha bilkul qarib nahi.
फ़रिश्तों ने कहा कि ऐ लूत! हम आपके रब के भेजे हुए हैं, वे हरगिज़ आप तक पहुँच न सकेंगे, पस आप अपने लोगों को लेकर कुछ रात रहे निकल जाइए और तुम में से कोई मुड़कर न देखेगा, मगर आपकी बीवी कि उस पर वही कुछ गुज़रने वाला है जो उन लोगों पर गुज़रेगा, उनके लिए सुबह का वक़्त मुक़र्रर है, क्या सुबह क़रीब नहीं।
They said, "O Shu'ayb, does your prayer command you that we should leave what our fathers worship or not do with our wealth what we please? Indeed, you are the forbearing, the discerning!"
Unhon ney jawab diya kay aey shoaib! Kiya teri salaat tujhay yehi hukum deti hai kay hum apney baap dadon kay maboodon ko chor den tu to bara hi ba waqar aur nek chalan aadmi hai.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ शुऐब! क्या तुम्हारी नमाज़ तुमको यह सिखाती है कि हम उन चीज़ों को छोड़ दें जिनकी इबादत हमारे बाप-दादा किया करते थे या अपने माल में अपनी मर्ज़ी के मुताबिक़ तसर्रुफ़ करना छोड़ दें बस तुम ही तो एक अक़्लमंद और नेक-चलन आदमी हो।
They said, "O Shu'ayb, we do not understand much of what you say, and indeed, we consider you among us as weak. And if not for your family, we would have stoned you [to death]; and you are not to us one respected."
Unhon ney kaha aey shoaib! Teri aksar baaten to humari samajh mein hi nahi aatin aur hum to tujhay apney andar boht kamzor patay hain agar teray qabeelay ka khayal na hota to hum to tujhay sangsaar ker detay aur hum tujhay koi heysiyat wali hasti nahi gintay.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ शुऐब! जो तुम कहते हो उसका बहुत-सा हिस्सा हमारी समझ में नहीं आता और हम तो देखते हैं कि तुम हम में कमज़ोर हो, और अगर तुम्हारी बिरादरी न होती तो हम तुमको पत्थर मार-मार कर हलाक कर देते और तुम हम पर कुछ भारी नहीं हो।
When they said, "Joseph and his brother are more beloved to our father than we, while we are a clan. Indeed, our father is in clear error.
Jabkay unhon ney kaha kay yousuf aur uss ka bhai ba-nisbat humaray baap ko boht ziyada piyaray hain halankay hum ( taqatwar ) jamat hain koi shak nahi kay humaray abba sareeh ghalati mein hain.
जब उसके भाइयों ने आपस में कहा कि यूसुफ़ और उसका भाई हमारे वालिद को हमसे ज़्यादा महबूब हैं; हालाँकि हम एक पूरी जमात हैं, यक़ीनन हमारे वालिद एक खुली हुई ग़लती में मुब्तला हैं।
They said, "O our father, why do you not entrust us with Joseph while indeed, we are to him sincere counselors?
Unhon ney kaha abba! Aakhir aap yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) kay baray mein hum per aitbaar kiyon nahi kertay hum to iss kay khair khua hain.
उन्होंने वालिद से कहाः ऐ हमारे अब्बा जान! क्या बात है कि आप यूसुफ़ के मामले में हम पर भरोसा नहीं करते; हालाँकि हम तो उसके ख़ैर-ख़्वाह हैं।
They said, " If a wolf should eat him while we are a [strong] clan, indeed, we would then be losers."
Unhon ney jawab diya kay hum jaisi ( zor aawar ) jamat ki mojoodgi mein bhi agar issay bheyriya kha jaye to hum bilkul nikammay hi huye.
उन्होंने कहा कि अगर उसको भेड़िया खा गया जबकि हम एक पूरी जमात हैं तो हम बड़े ख़सारे वाले साबित होंगे।
They said, "O our father, indeed we went racing each other and left Joseph with our possessions, and a wolf ate him. But you would not believe us, even if we were truthful."
Aur kehney lagay kay abba jaan hum to aapas mein dor mein lagg gaye aur yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) ko hum ney asbaab kay pass chora pus ussay bheyriya kha gaya aap to humari baat nahi manen gay go hum bilkul sachay hi hon.
उन्होंने कहाः ऐ हमारे अब्बा! हम दौड़ का मुक़ाबला करने लगे और यूसुफ़ को हमने अपने सामान के पास छोड़ दिया फिर उसको भेड़िया खा गया, और आप हमारी बात का यक़ीन न करेंगे चाहे हम सच्चे हों।
They said, "We will attempt to dissuade his father from [keeping] him, and indeed, we will do [it]."
Unhon ney kaha acha hum uss kay baap ko uss ki babat phuslayen gay aur poori kosish keren gay.
उन्होंने कहा कि हम उसके बारे में उसके वालिद को राज़ी करने की कोशिश करेंगे, और हमको यह काम करना है।
So when they returned to their father, they said, "O our father, [further] measure has been denied to us, so send with us our brother [that] we will be given measure. And indeed, we will be his guardians."
Jab yeh log lot ker apney walid kay pass gaye to kehney lagay kay hum say to ghallay ka naap rok liye gaya. Abb aap humaray sath humaray bhai ko bhejiye kay hum paymana bhar ker layen hum uss ki nigehbani kay zimmay daar hain.
फिर जब वे अपने वालिद के पास लौटे तो उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ हमारे अब्बा जान! हम से ग़ल्ला रोक दिया गया पस हमारे भाई (बिनयामीन) को हमारे साथ जाने दीजिए कि हम ग़ल्ला लाएं और हम उसके निगहबान हैं।
And when they opened their baggage, they found their merchandise returned to them. They said, "O our father, what [more] could we desire? This is our merchandise returned to us. And we will obtain supplies for our family and protect our brother and obtain an increase of a camel's load; that is an easy measurement."
Jab unhon ney apna asbaab khola to to apna sarmaya mojood paya jo unn ki janib lota diya gaya tha. Kehney lagay aey humaray baap humen aur kiya chahaiye. Dekhiye to yeh humara sarmaya bhi humen wapis lota diya gaya hai. Hum apney khaandan ko rasad laa den gay aur apney bhai ki nigrani bhi rakhen gay aur aik oont kay bojh ka ghalla ziyada layen gay. Yeh naap to boht aasan hai.
और जब उन्होंने अपना सामान खोला तो देखा कि उनकी पूंजी भी उनको लौटा दी गई है, उन्होंने कहाः ऐ हमारे अब्बा जान! हमको और क्या चाहिए, यह हमारी पूंजी भी हमको लौटा दी गई है, अब हम जाएंगे और अपने अहलो-अयाल के लिए और ग़ल्ला लाएंगे और अपने भाई की हिफ़ाज़त करेंगे और एक ऊँट का बोझ ग़ल्ला और ज़्यादा लाएंगे, यह ग़ल्ला तो थोड़ा है।
They said while approaching them, "What is it you are missing?"
Enhon ney unn ki taraf mun pher ker kaha kay tumhari cheez khoi gaee hai?
उन्होंने उनकी तरफ़ मुतवज्जह होकर कहाः तुम्हारी क्या चीज़ खो गई है।
They said, "We are missing the measure of the king. And for he who produces it is [the reward of] a camel's load, and I am responsible for it."
Jawab diya kay shahi paymana gumm hai jo issay ley aaye ussay aik oont kay bojh ka ghalla milay ga. Iss waday kay mein zaamin hun.
उन्होंने कहाः हम बादशाह का प्याला नहीं पा रहे हैं, और जो उसको लाएगा उसके लिए एक ऊँट भर ग़ल्ला है और मैं इसका ज़िम्मेदार हूँ।
They said, "By Allah , you have certainly known that we did not come to cause corruption in the land, and we have not been thieves."
Enhon ney kaha Allah ki qasam! Tum ko khoob ilm hai kay hum mulk mein fasad phelaney kay liye nahi aaye aur na hum chor hain.
उन्होंने कहाः अल्लाह की क़सम! तुमको मालूम है कि हम लोग इस मुल्क में फ़साद करने के लिए नहीं आए और न हम कभी चोर थे।
The accusers said, "Then what would be its recompense if you should be liars?"
Enhon ney kaha acha chor ki kiya saza hai agar tum jhootay ho?
उन्होंने कहाः अगर तुम झूठे निकले तो उस चोरी करने वाले की सज़ा क्या है?
[The brothers] said, "Its recompense is that he in whose bag it is found - he [himself] will be its recompense. Thus do we recompense the wrongdoers."
Jawab diya kay uss ki saza yehi hai kay jiss kay asbaab mein say paya jaye wohi uss ka badla hai. Hum to aisay zalimon ko yehi saza diya kertay hain.
उन्होंने कहाः उसकी सज़ा यह है कि जिस शख़्स के सामान में मिले पस वही शख़्स अपनी सज़ा है, हम लोग ज़ालिमों को ऐसी ही सज़ा दिया करते हैं।
They said, "O 'Azeez, indeed he has a father [who is] an old man, so take one of us in place of him. Indeed, we see you as a doer of good."
Enhon ney kaha aey aziz-e-misir! Iss kay walid boht bari umar kay bilkul boorhay shaks hain. Aap iss kay badlay hum mein say kissi ko ley lijiye. Hum dekhtay hain kay aap baray nek nafs hain.
उन्होंने कहा कि ऐ अज़ीज़! इसका एक बहुत बूढ़ा बाप है तो आप इसकी जगह हम में से किसी और को रख लें, हम आपको बहुत नेक देखते हैं।
They said, "By Allah , you will not cease remembering Joseph until you become fatally ill or become of those who perish."
Beton ney kaha wallah! Aap hamesha yousuf ki yaad mein hi lagay rahen gay yahan tak kay ghul jayen ya khatam hi ho jayen.
उन्होंने कहाः अल्लाह की क़सम! आप तो यूसुफ़ ही की याद में रहोगे यहाँ तक कि घुल जाओगे या हलाक हो जाओगे।
So when they entered upon Joseph, they said, "O 'Azeez, adversity has touched us and our family, and we have come with goods poor in quality, but give us full measure and be charitable to us. Indeed, Allah rewards the charitable."
Phir jab yeh log yousuf ( alh-e-salam ) kay pass phonchay to kehney lagay aey aziz! Hum ko aur humaray khaandan ko dukh phoncha hai. Hum haqeer poonji laye hain pus aap humen pooray ghallay ka naap dijiye aur hum per kheyraat kijiye Allah Taalaa kheyraat kerney walon ko badla deta hai.
फिर जब वे यूसुफ़ के पास पहुँचे तो उन्होंने कहाः ऐ अज़ीज़! हमको और हमारे घर वालों को बड़ी तकलीफ़ पहुँच रही है और हम थोड़ी पूंजी लेकर आए हैं तो आप हमको पूरा ग़ल्ला दे दीजिए और हमको सदक़ा भी दे दीजिए, बेशक अल्लाह सदक़ा करने वालों को उसका बदला देता है।
They said, "By Allah , certainly has Allah preferred you over us, and indeed, we have been sinners."
Unhon ney kaha Allah ki qasam! Allah Taalaa ney tujhay hum per bartari di hai aur yeh bhi bilkul sach hai kay hum khata kaar thay.
भाइयों ने कहाः अल्लाह की क़सम! अल्लाह ने आपको हमारे ऊपर फ़ज़ीलत दी और बेशक हम ग़लती पर थे।
They said, "By Allah , indeed you are in your [same] old error."
Woh kehney lagay kay wallah apney issi puraney khabt mein mubtila hain.
लोगों ने कहाः अल्लाह की क़सम! तुम तो अभी तक अपने पुराने ग़लत ख़्याल में मुब्तला हो।
They said, "O our father, ask for us forgiveness of our sins; indeed, we have been sinners."
Enhon ney kaha abba ji! Aap humaray liye gunahon ki bakhsish talab kijiye be-shal hum qusoor waar hain.
यूसुफ़ के भाइयों ने कहाः ऐ हमारे अब्बा जान! हमारे गुनाहों की माफ़ी की दुआ कीजिए, बेशक हम ख़तावार थे।
And they will come out [for judgement] before Allah all together, and the weak will say to those who were arrogant, "Indeed, we were your followers, so can you avail us anything against the punishment of Allah ?" They will say, "If Allah had guided us, we would have guided you. It is all the same for us whether we show intolerance or are patient: there is for us no place of escape."
Sab kay sab Allah kay samney roo-baroo kharay hongay uss waqt kamzor log baraee walon say kahen gay hum to tumharay tabeydaar thay to kiys tum Allah kay azabon mein say kuch azab hum say door ker sakney walay ho? Woh jawab den gay kay agar Allah humen hidayat deta to hum bhi zaroor tumhari rehnumaee kertay abb to hum per bey qarari kerna aur sabar kerna dono hi barabar hai humaray liye koi chutkara nahi.
और अल्लाह के सामने सब पेश होंगे, फिर कमज़ोर लोग उन लोगों से कहेंगे जो बड़ाई वाले थे कि हम तुम्हारे ताबे थे तो क्या तुम अल्लाह के अज़ाब से कुछ हमको बचाओगे, वे कहेंगे कि अगर अल्लाह हमको कोई राह दिखाता तो हम तुमको भी ज़रूर वह राह दिखा देते, अब हमारे लिए बराबर है कि हम बेक़रार हों या सब्र करें, हमारे बचने की कोई सूरत नहीं।
[The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy."
Unhon ney kaha daro nahi hum tujhay aik saahib-e-ilm farzand ki bisharat detay hain.
उन्होंने कहाः डरिए मत, हम तो आपको एक लड़के की बशारत देते हैं, जो बड़ा आलिम होगा।
They said, "We have given you good tidings in truth, so do not be of the despairing."
Unhon ney kaha hum aap ko bilkul sachi khushkhabri sunatay hain aap mayus logon mein shamil na hon.
उन्होंने कहाः हम आपको हक़ के साथ बशारत देते हैं, पस आप ना-उम्मीद होने वालों में से न बनें।
They said, "But we have come to you with that about which they were disputing,
Unhon ney kaha nahi bulkay hum teray pass woh cheez laye hain jiss mein yeh log shak-o-shuba ker rahey thay.
उन्होंने कहाः नहीं; बल्कि हम आपके पास वह चीज़ लेकर आए हैं जिसमें ये लोग शक करते हैं।
And it will be said to those who feared Allah , "What did your Lord send down?" They will say, "[That which is] good." For those who do good in this world is good; and the home of the Hereafter is better. And how excellent is the home of the righteous -
Aur perhezgaron say poocha jata hai kay tumharya perwerdigar ney kiya nazil farmaya hai? Wo woh jawab detay hain kay achay say acha. Jin logon ney bhalee ki unn kay liye iss duniya mein bhalee hai aur yaqeenan aakhirat ka ghar to boht hi behtar hai aur kiya hi khoob perhezgaron ka ghar hai.
और जो तक़वे वाले हैं उनसे कहा गया कि तुम्हारे रब ने क्या चीज़ उतारी है तो उन्होंने कहा कि नेक बात, जिन लोगों ने भलाई की उनके लिए इस दुनिया में भी भलाई है और आख़िरत का घर बेहतर है, और क्या ख़ूब घर है तक़वे वालों का।
And when those who associated others with Allah see their "partners," they will say," Our Lord, these are our partners [to You] whom we used to invoke besides You." But they will throw at them the statement, "Indeed, you are liars."
Aur jab mushrikeen apney sharikon ko dekh len gay to kahen gay aey humaray perwerdigar! Yehi humaray woh shareek hain jinhen hum tujhay chor ker pukara kertay thay pus woh unhen jawab den gay kay tum bilkul hi jhootay ho.
और जब मुशरिक लोग अपने शरीकों को देखेंगे तो कहेंगे कि ऐ हमारे रब! यही हमारे वे शुरका हैं जिनको हम तुझे छोड़ कर पुकारते थे, तब वह बात उनके ऊपर डाल देंगे कि तुम झूठे हो।
And similarly, We awakened them that they might question one another. Said a speaker from among them, "How long have you remained [here]?" They said, "We have remained a day or part of a day." They said, "Your Lord is most knowing of how long you remained. So send one of you with this silver coin of yours to the city and let him look to which is the best of food and bring you provision from it and let him be cautious. And let no one be aware of you.
Issi tarah hum ney unhen jaga ker utha diya kay aapas meinpooch gooch kerlen. Aik kehney walay ney kaha kay kiyon bhaee tum kitney dair thehray rahey? Unhon ney jawab diya kay aik din ya aik din say bhi kum. Kehney lagay kay tumharay thehray rehney ka ilm ba-khoobi Allah Taalaa hi ko hai. Abb to tum apney mein say kissi ko apni yeh chandi dey ker shehar bhejo woh khoob dekh bhaal ley kay shehar ka kaun say khana pakeeza tar hai phir ussi mein say tumharay liye khaney kay liye ley aaye aur boht ehtiyat aur narmi barttay aur kissi ko tumhari khabar na honey dey.
और इसी तरह हम ने उन्हें उठा खड़ा किया कि वे आपस में पूछताछ करें। उन में एक कहने वाले ने कहा, "तुम कितना ठहरे रहे?" वे बोले, "हम यही कोई एक दिन या एक दिन से भी कम ठहरें होंगे।" उन्होंने कहा, "जितना तुम यहाँ ठहरे हो उसे तुम्हारा रब ही भली-भाँति जानता है। अब अपने में से किसी को यह चाँदी का सिक्का देकर नगर की ओर भेजो। फिर वह देख ले कि उस में सबसे अच्छा खाना किस जगह मिलता है। तो उस में से वह तुम्हारे लिए कुछ खाने को ले आए और चाहिए की वह नरमी और होशियारी से काम ले और किसी को तुम्हारी ख़बर न होने दे

और इसी तरह हम ने उन्हें उठा खड़ा किया कि वे आपस में पूछताछ करें। उन में एक कहने वाले ने कहा, "तुम कितना ठहरे रहे?" वे बोले, "हम यही कोई एक दिन या एक दिन से भी कम ठहरें होंगे।" उन्होंने कहा, "जितना तुम यहाँ ठहरे हो उसे तुम्हारा रब ही भली-भाँति जानता है। अब अपने में से किसी को यह चाँदी का सिक्का देकर नगर की ओर भेजो। फिर वह देख ले कि उस में सबसे अच्छा खाना किस जगह मिलता है। तो उस में से वह तुम्हारे लिए कुछ खाने को ले आए और चाहिए की वह नरमी और होशियारी से काम ले और किसी को तुम्हारी ख़बर न होने दे
They said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier?"
Unhon ney kaha aey zulqarnain! Yaqoob majooj iss mulk mein ( baray bhari ) fasadi hain to kiya hum aap kay liye kuch kharch ka intizam ker den? ( iss shart per kay ) aap humaray aur unn kay darmiyan aik deewat bana den.
उन्होंने कहा, "ऐ ज़ुलक़रनैन! याजूज और माजूज इस भूभाग में उत्पात मचाते हैं। क्या हम तुम्हें कोई कर इस बात काम के लिए दें कि तुम हमारे और उन के बीच एक अवरोध निर्मित कर दो?"
Then she brought him to her people, carrying him. They said, "O Mary, you have certainly done a thing unprecedented.
Abb hazrat essa ( alh-e-salam ) ko liye huye woh apni qom kay pass aaeen. Sab kehney lagay marium tu ney bari buri harkat ki.
फिर वह उस बच्चे को लिए हुए अपनी क़ौम के लोगों के पास आई। वे बोले, "ऐ मरयम, तूने तो बड़ा ही आश्चर्य का काम कर डाला!
So she pointed to him. They said, "How can we speak to one who is in the cradle a child?"
Marium ney apney bachay ki taraf ishara kiya. Sab kehnay lagay kay lo bhala hum goad kay bachay say baat kaisay keren?
तब उस ने उस (बच्चे) की ओर संकेत किया। वे कहने लगे, "हम उस से कैसे बात करें जो पालने में पड़ा हुआ एक बच्चा है?"
They said, "O Moses, either you throw or we will be the first to throw."
Kehney lagay aey musa! Ya to tu pehlay daal ya hum pehlay dalney walay bann jayen.
वे बोले, "ऐ मूसा! या तो तुम फेंको या फिर हम पहले फेंकते हैं।"
They said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life.
Unhon ney jawab diya kay na-mumkin hai kay hum tujhay tarjeeh den inn daleelon per jo humaray samney aa chukin aur uss Allah per jiss ney humen peda kiya hai abb to jo kuch tu kerney wala hai ker guzar tu jo kuch bhi hukum chala sakta hai wo issi duniyawi zindagi mein hi hai.
उन्होंने कहा, "जो स्पष्ट निशानियाँ हमारे सामने आ चुकी हैं उन के मुक़ाबले में सौगंध है उस सत्ता की, जिस ने हमें पैदा किया है, हम कदापि तुझे प्राथमिकता नहीं दे सकते। तो जो कुछ तू फ़ैसला करने वाला है, कर ले। तू बस इसी सांसारिक जीवन का फ़ैसला कर सकता है
They said, "We did not break our promise to you by our will, but we were made to carry burdens from the ornaments of the people [of Pharaoh], so we threw them [into the fire], and thus did the Samiri throw."
Unhon ney jawab diya kay hum ney apney ikhtiyar say aap kay sath waday ka khilaf nahi kiya. Bulkay hum per zewraat qom kay bojh laad diye gaye thay unhen hum ney daal diya aur issi tarah samri ney bhi daal diye.
उन्होंने कहा, "हम ने आप से किए हुए वादे के विरुद्ध अपने अधिकार से कुछ नहीं किया, बल्कि लोगों के ज़ेवरों के बोझ हम उठाए हुए थे, फिर हम ने उन को (आग में) फेंक दिया, सामरी ने इसी तरह प्रेरित किया था।"
They said, "We will never cease being devoted to the calf until Moses returns to us."
Enhon ney jawab diya kay musa ( alh-e-salam ) ki wapsi tak to hum issi kay mujawar banay bethay rahen gay.
उन्होंने कहा, "जब तक मूसा लौटकर हमारे पास न आ जाए, हम तो इस से ही लगे बैठे रहेंगे।"
They said, "O woe to us! Indeed, we were wrongdoers."
Kehney lagay haaye humari kharabi! Be-shak hum zalim thay.
कहने लगे, "हाय हमारा दुर्भाग्य! निस्संदेह हम ज़ालिम थे।"
They said, "We found our fathers worshippers of them."
Sab ney jawab diya kay hum ney apnay baap dada ko enhi ki ibadat kertay huye paya.
वे बोले, "हम ने अपने बाप-दादा को इन्हीं की पूजा करते पाया है।"
They said, "Who has done this to our gods? Indeed, he is of the wrongdoers."
Kehney lagay kay humaray khudaon kay sath yeh kiss ney kiya? Aisa shaks to yaqeenan zalimon mein say hai.
वे कहने लगे, "किसने हमारे देवताओं के साथ यह हरकत की है? निश्चय ही वह कोई ज़ालिम है।"
They said, "We heard a young man mention them who is called Abraham."
Bolay hum ney aik no-jawan ko innk a tazkara kertay huye suna tha jissay ibrahim ( alh-e-salam ) kaha jata hai.
(कुछ लोग) बोले, "हम ने एक नवयुवक को, जिसे इबराहीम कहते हैं, उस के विषय में कुछ कहते सुना है।"
They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people that they may testify."
Sab ney kaha acha ussay majmay mein logon ki nigahon kay samney lao takay sab dekhen.
उन्होंने कहा, "तो उसे ले आओ लोगों की आँखों के सामने कि वे भी गवाह रहें।"
They said, "Burn him and support your gods - if you are to act."
Kehney lagay issay jala do aur apney khudaon ki madad kero agar tumhen kuch kerna hi hai.
उन्होंने कहा, "जला दो उसे, और सहायक हो अपने देवताओं के, यदि तुम्हें कुछ करना है।"
Rather, they say like what the former peoples said.
Bulkay inn logon ney bhi wesi hi baat kahi jo aglay kehtay chalay aaye.
नहीं, बल्कि वे लोग वहीं कुछ करते हैं जो उन के पहले के लोग कह चुके हैं
They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray.
Kahen gay kay aey perwerdigar! Humari bad-bakhti hum per ghalib aagaee ( waqaee ) hum thay hi gumrah.
वे कहेंगे, "ऐ हमारे रब! हमारा दुर्भाग्य हम पर प्रभावी हुआ और हम भटके हुए लोग थे
They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."
Woh kahen gay aik din ya aik din say bhi kum ginti ginnay walon say bhi pooch lijiye.
वॆ कहेंगेः , "एक दिन या एक दिन का कुछ भाग। गणना करने वालों से पूछ लीजिए।?"
