Or did We create the angels as females while they were witnesses?"
Ya yeh uss waqt mojood thay jabkay hum ney farishton ko moanniss peda kiya.
क्या हम ने फ़रिश्तों को औरतें बनाया और यह उन की आँखों देखी बात है?"
Unquestionably, it is out of their [invented] falsehood that they say,
Aagah raho! Kay yeh log sirf apni iftra per-dazi say keh rahey hain.
सुन लो, निश्चय ही वे अपनी मनघड़ंत कहते हैं
" Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars.
Kay Allah Taalaa ki aulad hai. Yeqeenan yeh mehaz jhootay hain.
कि "अल्लाह के औलाद हुई है!" निश्चय ही वे झूठे हैं।
Has He chosen daughters over sons?
Kiya Allah Taalaa ney apnay liye betiyon ko beton per tarjeeh di.
क्या उस ने बेटों की अपेक्षा बेटियाँ चुन ली हैं?
What is [wrong] with you? How do you make judgement?
Tumhen kiya hogaya hai kaisay hukum lagatay phirtay ho?
तुम्हें क्या हो गया है? तुम कैसा फ़ैसला करते हो?
Then will you not be reminded?
Kiya tum iss qadar bhi nahi samajhtay?
तो क्या तुम होश से काम नहीं लेते?
Or do you have a clear authority?
Ya tumharay pass iss ki koi saaf daleel hai.
क्या तुम्हारे पास कोई स्पष्ट प्रमाण है?
Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful.
To jao agar sachay ho to apni hi kitab ley aao.
तो लाओ अपनी किताब, यदि तुम सच्चे हो
And they have claimed between Him and the jinn a lineage, but the jinn have already known that they [who made such claims] will be brought to [punishment].
Aur inn logon ney to Allah kay aur jinnaat kay darmiyan bhi qarabat daari theraee hai aur halankay khud jinnaat ko maloom hai kay woh ( iss aqeeday kay log azab kay samney ) paish kiyey jayen gay.
उन्होंने अल्लाह और जिन्नों के बीच नाता जोड़ रखा है, हालाँकि जिन्नों को भली-भाँति मालूम है कि वे अवश्य पकड़कर हाज़िर किए जाएँगे-
Exalted is Allah above what they describe,
Jo kuch yeh ( Allah kay baray mein ) biyan ker rahey hain uss say Allah Taalaa bilkul pak hai.
महान और उच्च है अल्लाह उस से, जो वे बयान करते हैं। -
Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin].
Siwaye Allah kay mukhlis bandon kay.
अल्लाह के उन बन्दों की बात और है, जिन्हें उस ने चुन लिया
So indeed, you [disbelievers] and whatever you worship,
Yaqeen mano kay tum sab aur tumharay maboodaan ( baatil ) .
अतः तुम और जिन को तुम पूजते हो वे,
You cannot tempt [anyone] away from Him
Kissi aik ko bhi behka nahi saktay.
तुम सब अल्लाह के विरुद्ध किसी को बहका नहीं सकते,
Except he who is to [enter and] burn in the Hellfire.
Ba-juz uss kay jo jahannumi hi hai.
सिवाय उस के जो जहन्नम की भड़कती आग में पड़ने ही वाला हो
[The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position.
( farishton ka qol hai kay ) hum mein say to her aik ki jagah muqarrar hai.
और हमारी ओर से उस के लिए अनिवार्यतः एक ज्ञात और नियत स्थान है
And indeed, we are those who line up [for prayer].
Aur hum to ( bandag-e-elahee mein ) saff basta kharay hain.
और हम ही पंक्तिबद्ध करते हैं।
And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah ."
Aur uss ki tasbeeh biyan ker rahey hain.
और हम ही महानता बयान करते हैं
And indeed, the disbelievers used to say,
Kuffaar to kaha kertay thay.
वे तो कहा करते थे,
"If we had a message from [those of] the former peoples,
Kay agar humaray samney aglay logon ka zikar hota.
"यदि हमारे पास पिछलों की कोई शिक्षा होती
We would have been the chosen servants of Allah ."
To hum bhi Allah kay cheedah banday bann jatay.
तो हम अल्लाह के चुने हुए बन्दे होते।"
But they disbelieved in it, so they are going to know.
Lekin phir iss quran kay sath kufur ker gaye pus abb un-qareeb jaan len gay.
किन्तु उन्होंने इनकार कर दिया, तो अब जल्द ही वे जान लेंगे
And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers,
Aur albata humara wada pehlay hi apnay rasoolon kay liye sadir ho chuka hai.
और हमारे अपने उन बन्दों के हक़ में, जो रसूल बनाकर भेजे गए, हमारी बात पहले ही निश्चित हो चुकी है
[That] indeed, they would be those given victory
Kay yaqeenan woh hi madad kiyey jayen gay.
कि निश्चय ही उन्हीं की सहायता की जाएगी।
And [that] indeed, Our soldiers will be those who overcome.
Aur humara hi lashkar ghalib ( aur bartar ) rahey ga.
और निश्चय ही हमारी सेना ही प्रभावी रहेगी
So, [O Muhammad], leave them for a time.
Abb aap kuch dino tak inn say mun pher lijiyey.
अतः एक अवधि तक के लिए उन से रुख़ फेर लो
And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see.
Aur enhen dekhtay rahiyey aur yeh bhi aagay chal ker dekh len gay.
और उन्हें देखते रहो। वे भी जल्द ही (अपना परिणाम) देख लेंगे
Then for Our punishment are they impatient?
Kiya yeh humaray azab ki jaldi macha rahey hain?
क्या वे हमारी यातना के लिए जल्दी मचा रहे हैं?
But when it descends in their territory, then evil is the morning of those who were warned.
Suno! Jab humara azab inn kay medan mein utar aaye ga uss waqt unn ki jin ko muta-nabbay ker diya gaya tha bari buri subha hogi.
तो जब वह उन के आँगन में उतरेगी तो बड़ी ही बुरी सुबह होगी उन लोगों की, जिन्हें सचेत किया जा चुका है!
And leave them for a time.
Aap kuch waqt tak inn ka khayal chor dijiyey.
एक अवधि तक के लिए उन से रुख़ फेर लो
And see, for they are going to see.
Aur dekhtay rahiyey yeh bhi abhi abhi dekh len gay.
और देखते रहो, वे जल्द ही देख लेंगे
Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe.
Pak hai aap ka rab jo bot bari izzat wala hai her uss cheez say ( jo mushrik ) biyan kertay hain.
महान और उच्च है तुम्हारा रब, प्रताप का स्वामी, उन बातों से जो वे बताते हैं!
And peace upon the messengers.
Payghumbaron per salam hai.
और सलाम है रसूलों पर;
And praise to Allah , Lord of the worlds.
Aur sab tarah ki tareef Allah kay liye hai jo saray jahan ka rab hai.
और सब प्रशंसा अल्लाह, सारे संसार के रब के लिए है
