الفاظ ( غَفُوْرٌ )

تم پر مُردہ اور ( بہا ہوا ) خون اور سور کا گوشت اور ہر وہ چیز جس پر اللہ کے سوا دوسروں کا نام پکارا گیا ہو حرام ہے پھر جو مجبور ہو جائے اور وہ حد سے بڑھنے والا اور زیادتی کرنے والا نہ ہو ، اس پر ان کے کھانے میں کوئی گناہ نہیں ، اللہ تعالٰی بخشش کرنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

ہاں جو شخص وصیّت کرنے والے کی جانبداری یا گناہ کی وصیّت کر دینے سے ڈرے پس وہ ان میں آپس میں اصلاح کرا دے تو اس پر گناہ نہیں ، اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

But if one fears from the bequeather [some] error or sin and corrects that which is between them, there is no sin upon him. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اگر یہ باز آجائیں تو اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

And if they cease, then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

پھر تم اس جگہ سے لوٹو جس جگہ سے سب لوگ لوٹتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی سے بخشش طلب کرتے رہو یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

Then depart from the place from where [all] the people depart and ask forgiveness of Allah . Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

البتہ ایمان لانے والے ، ہجرت کرنے والے ، اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرنے والے ہی رحمت الٰہی کے امیدوار ہیں ، اللہ تعالٰی بہت بخشنے والا اور بہت مہربانی کرنے والا ہے ۔

Indeed, those who have believed and those who have emigrated and fought in the cause of Allah - those expect the mercy of Allah . And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اللہ تعالٰی تمہیں تمہاری ان قسموں پر نہ پکڑے گا جو پختہ نہ ہوں ہاں اس کی پکڑ اس چیز پر ہے جو تمہارے دلوں کا فعل ہو اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا اور بردبار ہے ۔

Allah does not impose blame upon you for what is unintentional in your oaths, but He imposes blame upon you for what your hearts have earned. And Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.

جو لوگ اپنی بیویوں سے ( تعلق نہ رکھنے کی ) قسمیں کھائیں ان کے لیے چار مہینے کی مدت ہے ، پھر اگر وہ لوٹ آئیں تو اللہ تعالٰی بھی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

For those who swear not to have sexual relations with their wives is a waiting time of four months, but if they return [to normal relations] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

تم پر اس میں کوئی گناہ نہیں کہ تم اشارۃً کنایۃً ان عورتوں سے نکاح کی بابت کہو ، یا اپنے دل میں پوشیدہ ارادہ کرو اللہ تعالٰی کو علم ہے کہ تم ضرور ان کو یاد کرو گے ، لیکن تم ان سے پوشیدہ وعدے نہ کر لو ہاں یہ اور بات ہے کہ تم بھلی بات بولا کرو اور عقد نکاح جب تک کہ عدت ختم نہ ہو جائے پختہ نہ کرو ، جان رکھو کہ اللہ تعالٰی کو تمہارے دلوں کی باتوں کا بھی علم ہے ، تم اس سے خوف کھاتے رہا کرو اور یہ بھی جان رکھو کہ اللہ تعالٰی بخشش اور حلم والا ہے ۔

There is no blame upon you for that to which you [indirectly] allude concerning a proposal to women or for what you conceal within yourselves. Allah knows that you will have them in mind. But do not promise them secretly except for saying a proper saying. And do not determine to undertake a marriage contract until the decreed period reaches its end. And know that Allah knows what is within yourselves, so beware of Him. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.

کہہ دیجئے! اگر تم اللہ سے محبت رکھتے ہو تو میری تابعداری کرو خود اللہ تعالٰی تم سے محبت کرے گا اور تمہارے گناہ معاف فرما دے گا اور اللہ تعالٰی بڑا بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

Say, [O Muhammad], "If you should love Allah , then follow me, [so] Allah will love you and forgive you your sins. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

مگر جو لوگ اس کے بعد توبہ اور اصلاح کرلیں تو بیشک اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

Except for those who repent after that and correct themselves. For indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

آسمانوں اور زمین میں جو کچھ ہے سب اللہ ہی کا ہے ، وہ جسے چاہے بخشے جسے چاہے عذاب کرے ، اللہ تعالٰی بخشش کرنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

And to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. He forgives whom He wills and punishes whom He wills. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

تم میں سے جن لوگوں نے اس دن پیٹھ دکھائی جس دن دونوں جماعتوں کی مڈ بھیڑ ہوئی تھی یہ لوگ اپنے بعض کرتوتُوں کے باعث شیطان کے پھسلانے میں آگئے لیکن یقین جانو کہ اللہ تعالٰی نے انہیں معاف کر دیا اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا اور تحمل والا ہے ۔

Indeed, those of you who turned back on the day the two armies met, it was Satan who caused them to slip because of some [blame] they had earned. But Allah has already forgiven them. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.

اور تم میں سے جس کسی کو آزاد مسلمان عورتوں سے نکاح کرنے کی پوری وُسعت و طاقت نہ ہو وہ مسلمان لونڈیوں سے جن کے تم مالک ہو ( اپنا نکاح ) کر لو اللہ تمہارے اعمال کو بخوبی جاننے والا ہے تم سب آپس میں ایک ہی تو ہو ، اس لئے ان کے مالکوں کی اجازت سے ان سے نکاح کر لو ، اور قاعدہ کے مطابق ان کے مہر ان کو دے دو وہ پاک دامن ہوں نہ کہ اعلانیہ بدکاری کرنے والیاںنہ خُفیہ آشنائی کرنے والیاں پس جب یہ لونڈیاں نکاح میں آ جائیں پھر اگر وہ بے حیائی کا کام کریں تو انہیں آدھی سزا ہے اس سزا سے جو آزاد عورتوں کی ہے ۔ کنیزوں سے نکاح کا یہ حکم تم میں سے ان لوگوں کے لئے ہے جنہیں گناہ اور تکلیف کا اندیشہ ہو اور تمہارا ضبط کرنا بہت بہتر ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی بڑا بخشنے والا اور بڑی رحمت والا ہے ۔

And whoever among you cannot [find] the means to marry free, believing women, then [he may marry] from those whom your right hands possess of believing slave girls. And Allah is most knowing about your faith. You [believers] are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due compensation according to what is acceptable. [They should be] chaste, neither [of] those who commit unlawful intercourse randomly nor those who take [secret] lovers. But once they are sheltered in marriage, if they should commit adultery, then for them is half the punishment for free [unmarried] women. This [allowance] is for him among you who fears sin, but to be patient is better for you. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

تم پر حرام کیا گیا مردار اور خون اور خنزیر کا گوشت اور جس پر اللہ کے سوا دوسرے کا نام پکارا گیا ہو ، اور جو گلا گھٹنے سے مرا ہو ، اور جو کسی ضرب سے مر گیا ہو اور جو اونچی جگہ سے گر کر مرا ہو جو کسی کے سینگ مارنے سے مرا ہو ، اور جسے درندوں نے پھاڑ کھایا ہو ، لیکن اسے تم ذبح کر ڈالو تو حرام نہیں ، اور جو آستانوں پر ذبح کیا گیا ہو ، اور یہ بھی کہ قرعہ کے تیروں کے ذریعے فال گیری ہو ، یہ سب بدترین گناہ ہیں ، آج کفار تمھارے دین سے ناآمید ہوگئے ، خبردار تم ان سے نہ ڈرنا اور مجھ سے ڈرتے رہنا ، آج میں نے تمہارے لئے دین کو کامل کر دیا اور تم پر اپنا انعام بھرپور کر دیا اور تمہارے لئے اسلام کے دین ہونے پر رضامند ہوگیا ۔ پس جو شخص شدت کی بھوک میں بے قر ار ہو جائے بشرطیکہ کسی گناہ کی طرف اس کا میلان نہ ہو تو یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی معاف کرنے والا ہے اور بہت بڑا مہربان ہے ( ۱۰ ) ۔

Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah , and [those animals] killed by strangling or by a violent blow or by a head-long fall or by the goring of horns, and those from which a wild animal has eaten, except what you [are able to] slaughter [before its death], and those which are sacrificed on stone altars, and [prohibited is] that you seek decision through divining arrows. That is grave disobedience. This day those who disbelieve have despaired of [defeating] your religion; so fear them not, but fear Me. This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion. But whoever is forced by severe hunger with no inclination to sin - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

ہاں جو لوگ اس سے پہلے توبہ کرلیں کہ تم ان پر قابو پالو تو یقین مانو کہ اللہ تعالٰی بہت بڑی بخشش اور رحم و کرم والا ہے ۔

Except for those who return [repenting] before you apprehend them. And know that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

جو شخص اپنے گناہ کے بعد توبہ کر لے اور اصلاح کر لے تو اللہ تعالٰی رحمت کے ساتھ اس کی طرف لوٹتا ہے یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی معاف فرمانے والا مہربانی کرنے والا ہے ۔

But whoever repents after his wrongdoing and reforms, indeed, Allah will turn to him in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

یہ لوگ کیوں اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف نہیں جھکتے اور کیوں استغفار نہیں کرتے؟ اللہ تعالٰی تو بہت ہی بخشنے والا اور بڑا ہی مہربان ہے ۔

So will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

تم یقین جانو کہ اللہ تعالٰی سزا بھی سخت دینے والا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی بڑی مغفرت اور بڑی رحمت والا بھی ہے

Know that Allah is severe in penalty and that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اے ایمان والو! ایسی باتیں مت پوچھو کہ اگر تم پر ظاہر کر دی جائیں تو تمہیں ناگوار ہوں اور اگر تم زمانہ نزول قرآن میں ان باتوں کو پوچھو گے تو تم پر ظاہر کر دی جائیں گی سوالات گزشتہ اللہ نے معاف کر دیئے اور اللہ بڑی مغفرت والا بڑے حلم والا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, do not ask about things which, if they are shown to you, will distress you. But if you ask about them while the Qur'an is being revealed, they will be shown to you. Allah has pardoned that which is past; and Allah is Forgiving and Forbearing.

یہ لوگ جب آپ کے پاس آئیں جو ہماری آیتوں پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں تو ( یوں ) کہہ دیجئے کہ تم پر سلامتی ہے تمہارے رب نے مہربانی فرمانا اپنے ذمہ مقرر کر لیا ہے کہ جو شخص تم میں سے برا کام کر بیٹھے جہالت سے پھر وہ اس کے بعد توبہ کر لے اور اصلاح رکھے تو اللہ ( کی یہ شان ہے کہ وہ ) بڑی مغفرت کرنے والا ہے بڑی رحمت والا ہے ۔

And when those come to you who believe in Our verses, say, "Peace be upon you. Your Lord has decreed upon Himself mercy: that any of you who does wrong out of ignorance and then repents after that and corrects himself - indeed, He is Forgiving and Merciful."

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ جو کچھ احکام بذریعہ وحی میرے پاس آئے ان میں تو میں کوئی حرام نہیں پاتا کسی کھانے والے کے لئے جو اس کو کھائے ، مگر یہ کہ وہ مردار ہو یا کہ بہتا ہوا خون ہو یا خنزیر کا گوشت ہو ، کیونکہ وہ بالکل ناپاک ہے یا جو شرک کا ذریعہ ہو کہ غیر اللہ کے لئے نامزد کر دیا گیا ہو پھر جو شخص مجبور ہو جائے بشرطیکہ نہ تو طالب لذت ہو اور نہ تجاوز کرنے والا ہو تو واقعی ہی آپ کا رب غفور ا لرحیم ہے ۔

Say, "I do not find within that which was revealed to me [anything] forbidden to one who would eat it unless it be a dead animal or blood spilled out or the flesh of swine - for indeed, it is impure - or it be [that slaughtered in] disobedience, dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit], then indeed, your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

پس جو کچھ حلال اور پاکیزہ غنیمت تم نے حاصل کی ہے خوب کھاؤ پیو اور اللہ سے ڈرتے رہو یقیناً اللہ غفور و رحیم ہے ۔

So consume what you have taken of war booty [as being] lawful and good, and fear Allah . Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اے نبی! اپنے ہاتھ تلے کے قیدیوں سے کہہ دو کہ اگر اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے دلوں میں نیک نیتی دیکھے گا تو جو کچھ تم سے لیا گیا ہے اس سے بہتر تمہیں دے گا اور پھر گناہ بھی معاف فرمائے گا اور اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

O Prophet, say to whoever is in your hands of the captives, "If Allah knows [any] good in your hearts, He will give you [something] better than what was taken from you, and He will forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

پھر حرمت والے مہینوں کے گزرتے ہی مشرکوں کو جہاں پاؤ قتل کرو انہیں گرفتار کروان کا محاصرہ کرلو اور ان کی تاک میں ہر گھاٹی میں جابیٹھو ، ہاں اگر وہ توبہ کرلیں اور نماز کے پابند ہوجائیں اور زکوۃ ادا کرنے لگیں تو تم ان کی راہیں چھوڑ دو یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

And when the sacred months have passed, then kill the polytheists wherever you find them and capture them and besiege them and sit in wait for them at every place of ambush. But if they should repent, establish prayer, and give zakah, let them [go] on their way. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

پھر اس کے بعد بھی جس پر چاہے اللہ تعالٰی اپنی رحمت کی توجہ فرمائے گا اللہ ہی بخشش و مہربانی کرنے والا ہے ۔

Then Allah will accept repentance after that for whom He wills; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

ضعیفوں پر اور بیماروں پر اور ان پر جن کے پاس خرچ کرنے کو کچھ بھی نہیں کوئی حرج نہیں بشرطیکہ وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کی خیر خواہی کرتے رہیں ، ایسے نیک کاروں پر الزام کی کوئی راہ نہیں ، اللہ تعالٰی بڑی مغفرت اور رحمت والا ہے ۔

There is not upon the weak or upon the ill or upon those who do not find anything to spend any discomfort when they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger. There is not upon the doers of good any cause [for blame]. And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اور بعض اہل دیہات میں ایسے بھی ہیں جو اللہ تعالٰی پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتے ہیں اور جو کچھ خرچ کرتے ہیں اس کو عند اللہ قرب حاصل ہونے کا ذریعہ اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی دعا کا ذریعہ بناتے ہیں ۔ یاد رکھو کہ ان کا یہ خرچ کرنا بیشک ان کے لئے موجب قربت ہے ، ان کو اللہ تعالٰی ضرور اپنی رحمت میں داخل کرے گا اللہ تعالٰی بڑی مغفرت والا بڑی رحمت والا ہے ۔

But among the bedouins are some who believe in Allah and the Last Day and consider what they spend as means of nearness to Allah and of [obtaining] invocations of the Messenger. Unquestionably, it is a means of nearness for them. Allah will admit them to His mercy. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اور کچھ لوگ ہیں جو اپنی خطا کے اقراری ہیں جنہوں نے ملے جلے عمل کئے تھے ، کچھ بھلے اور کچھ برے اللہ سے امید ہے کہ ان کی توبہ قبول فرمائے بلاشبہ اللہ تعالٰی بڑی مغفرت والا بڑی رحمت والا ہے ۔

And [there are] others who have acknowledged their sins. They had mixed a righteous deed with another that was bad. Perhaps Allah will turn to them in forgiveness. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

میں اپنے نفس کی پاکیزگی بیان نہیں کرتا بیشک نفس تو برائی پر ابھارنے والا ہی ہے مگر یہ کہ میرا پروردگار ہی اپنا رحم کرے یقیناً میرا پالنے والا بڑی بخشش کرنے والا اور بہت مہربانی فرمانے والا ہے ۔

And I do not acquit myself. Indeed, the soul is a persistent enjoiner of evil, except those upon which my Lord has mercy. Indeed, my Lord is Forgiving and Merciful."

اے میرے پالنے والے معبود! انہوں نے بہت سے لوگوں کو راہ سے بھٹکا دیا ہے پس میری تابعداری کرنے والا میرا ہے اور جو میری نافرمانی کرے تو ، تو بہت ہی معاف اور کرم کرنے والا ہے ۔

My Lord, indeed they have led astray many among the people. So whoever follows me - then he is of me; and whoever disobeys me - indeed, You are [yet] Forgiving and Merciful.

تم پر صرف مردار اور خون اور سور کا گوشت اور جس چیز پر اللہ کے سوا دوسرے کا نام پکارا جائے حرام ہیں پھر اگر کوئی شخص بے بس کر دیا جائے نہ وہ خواہشمند ہو اور نہ حد سے گزر جانے والا ہو تو یقیناً اللہ بخشنے والا رحم کرنے والا ہے ۔

He has only forbidden to you dead animals, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which has been dedicated to other than Allah . But whoever is forced [by necessity], neither desiring [it] nor transgressing [its limit] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

بات یہی ہے اور جس نے بدلہ لیا اسی کے برابر جو اس کے ساتھ کیا گیا تھا پھر اگر اس سے زیادتی کی جائے تو یقیناً اللہ تعالٰی خود اس کی مدد فرمائے گا بیشک اللہ درگزر کرنے والا بخشنے والا ہے ۔

That [is so]. And whoever responds [to injustice] with the equivalent of that with which he was harmed and then is tyrannized - Allah will surely aid him. Indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving.

ہاں جو لوگ اس کے بعد توبہ اور اصلاح کرلیں تو اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا اور مہربانی کرنے والا ہے ۔

Except for those who repent thereafter and reform, for indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

تم میں سے جو بزرگی اور کشادگی والے ہیں انہیں اپنے قرابت داروں اور مسکینوں اور مہاجروں کو فی سبیل اللہ دینے سے قسم نہ کھالینی چاہیئے بلکہ معاف کردینا اور درگذر کرلینا چاہئیے ۔ کیا تم نہیں چاہتے کہ اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے قصور معاف فرما دے؟ اللہ قصوروں کو معاف فرمانے والا مہربان ہے ۔

And let not those of virtue among you and wealth swear not to give [aid] to their relatives and the needy and the emigrants for the cause of Allah , and let them pardon and overlook. Would you not like that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اور ان لوگوں کو پاک دامن رہنا چاہیے جو اپنا نکاح کرنے کا مقدور نہیں رکھتے یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالٰی انہیں اپنے فضل سے مالدار بنا دے ، تمہارے غلاموں میں سے جو کوئی کچھ تمہیں دے کر آزادی کی تحریر کرانی چاہے تو تم ایسی تحریر انہیں کر دیا کرو اگر تم کو ان میں کوئی بھلائی نظر آتی ہو اور اللہ نے جو مال تمہیں دے رکھا ہے اس میں سے انہیں بھی دو ، تمہاری جو لونڈیاں پاک دامن رہنا چاہتی ہیں انہیں دنیا کی زندگی کے فائدے کی غرض سے بدکاری پر مجبور نہ کرو اور جو انہیں مجبور کر دے تو اللہ تعالٰی ان پر جبر کے بعد بخش دینے والا اور مہربانی کرنے والا ہے ۔

But let them who find not [the means for] marriage abstain [from sexual relations] until Allah enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek a contract [for eventual emancipation] from among whom your right hands possess - then make a contract with them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allah which He has given you. And do not compel your slave girls to prostitution, if they desire chastity, to seek [thereby] the temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone should compel them, then indeed, Allah is [to them], after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful.

با ایمان لوگ تو وہی ہیں جو اللہ تعالٰی پر اور اس کے رسول پر یقین رکھتے ہیں اور جب ایسے معاملہ میں جس میں لوگوں کے جمع ہونے کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے نبی کے ساتھ ہوتے ہیں توجب تک آپ سے اجازت نہ لیں کہیں نہیں جاتے ۔ جو لوگ ایسے موقع پر آپ سے اجازت لے لیتے ہیں حقیقت میں یہی ہیں جو اللہ تعالٰی پر اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لا چکے ہیں پس جب ایسے لوگ آپ سے اپنے کسی کام کے لئے اجازت طلب کریں تو آپ ان میں سے جسے چاہیں اجازت دے دیں اور ان کے لئے اللہ تعالٰی سے بخشش کی دعا مانگیں ، بیشک اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger and, when they are [meeting] with him for a matter of common interest, do not depart until they have asked his permission. Indeed, those who ask your permission, [O Muhammad] - those are the ones who believe in Allah and His Messenger. So when they ask your permission for something of their affairs, then give permission to whom you will among them and ask forgiveness for them of Allah . Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

لیکن جو لوگ ظلم کریں پھر اس کے عوض نیکی کریں اس برائی کے پیچھے تو میں بھی بخشنے والا مہربان ہوں ۔

Otherwise, he who wrongs, then substitutes good after evil - indeed, I am Forgiving and Merciful.

قوم سبا کے لئے اپنی بستیوں میں ( قدرت الٰہی کی ) نشانی تھی ان کے دائیں بائیں دو باغ تھے ( ہم نے ان کو حکم دیا تھا کہ ) اپنے رب کی دی ہوئی روزی کھاؤ اور اُس کا شکر ادا کرو یہ عمدہ شہر اور وہ بخشنے والا رب ہے ۔

There was for [the tribe of] Saba' in their dwelling place a sign: two [fields of] gardens on the right and on the left. [They were told], "Eat from the provisions of your Lord and be grateful to Him. A good land [have you], and a forgiving Lord."

اور اسی طرح آدمیوں اور جانوروں اور چوپایوں میں بھی بعض ایسے ہیں کہ ان کی رنگتیں مختلف ہیں اللہ سے اس کے وہی بندے ڈرتے ہیں جو علم رکھتے ہیں واقعی اللہ تعالٰی زبردست بڑا بخشنے والا ہے ۔

And among people and moving creatures and grazing livestock are various colors similarly. Only those fear Allah , from among His servants, who have knowledge. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Forgiving.

تاکہ ان کو ان کی اجرتیں پوری دے اور ان کو اپنے فضل سے اور زیادہ دے بیشک وہ بڑا بخشنے والا قدر دان ہے ۔

That He may give them in full their rewards and increase for them of His bounty. Indeed, He is Forgiving and Appreciative.

یہی وہ ہے جس کی بشارت اللہ تعالٰی اپنے ان بندوں کو دے رہا ہے جو ایمان لائے اور ( سنت کے مطابق ) نیک عمل کئے تو کہہ دیجئے! کہ میں اس پر تم سے کوئی بدلہ نہیں چاہتا مگر محبت رشتہ داری کی جو شخص کوئی نیکی کرے ہم اس کے لئے اس کی نیکی میں اور نیکی بڑھا دیں گے بیشک اللہ تعالٰی بہت بخشنے والا ( اور ) بہت قدردان ہے ۔

It is that of which Allah gives good tidings to His servants who believe and do righteous deeds. Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for this message any payment [but] only good will through kinship." And whoever commits a good deed - We will increase for him good therein. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Appreciative.

اگر یہ لوگ یہاں تک صبر کرتے کہ آپ خود سے نکل کر ان کے پاس آجاتے تو یہی ان کے لئے بہتر ہوتا اور اللہ غفور و رحیم ہے ۔

And if they had been patient until you [could] come out to them, it would have been better for them. But Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

دیہاتی لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ایمان لائے ۔ آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ درحقیقت تم ایمان نہیں لائے لیکن تم یوں کہو کہ ہم اسلام لائے ( مخالفت چھوڑ کر مطیع ہو گئے ) حالانکہ ابھی تک تمہارے دلوں میں ایمان داخل ہی نہیں ہوا تم اگر اللہ کی اور اس کے رسول کی فرمانبرداری کرنے لگو گے تو اللہ تمہارے اعمال میں سے کچھ بھی کم نہ کرے گا ۔ بیشک اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

The bedouins say, "We have believed." Say, "You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], 'We have submitted,' for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you from your deeds of anything. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful."

اے وہ لوگوں جو ایمان لائے ہو! اللہ سے ڈرتے رہا کرو اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لاؤ اللہ تمہیں اپنی رحمت کا دوہرا حصہ دے گا اور تمہیں نور دے گا جس کی روشنی میں تم چلو پھرو گے اور تمہارے گناہ بھی معاف فرما دے گا ، اللہ بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

O you who have believed, fear Allah and believe in His Messenger; He will [then] give you a double portion of His mercy and make for you a light by which you will walk and forgive you; and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

تم میں سے جو لوگ اپنی بیویوں سے ظہار کرتے ہیں ( یعنی انہیں ماں کہہ بیٹھتے ہیں ) وہ دراصل ان کی مائیں نہیں بن جاتیں ، ان کی مائیں تو وہی ہیں جن کے بطن سے وہ پیدا ہوئے ، یقینًا یہ لوگ ایک نامعقول اور جھوٹی بات کہتے ہیں بے شک اللہ تعا لٰی معاف کرنے والا اور بخشنے والا ہے ۔

Those who pronounce thihar among you [to separate] from their wives - they are not [consequently] their mothers. Their mothers are none but those who gave birth to them. And indeed, they are saying an objectionable statement and a falsehood. But indeed, Allah is Pardoning and Forgiving.

اے مسلمانو! جب تم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سرگوشی کرنا چاہو تو اپنی سرگوشی سے پہلے کچھ صدقہ دے دیا کرو یہ تمہارے حق میں بہتر اور پاکیزہ تر ہے ہاں اگر نہ پاؤ تو بیشک اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

O you who have believed, when you [wish to] privately consult the Messenger, present before your consultation a charity. That is better for you and purer. But if you find not [the means] - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

کیا عجب کہ عنقریب ہی اللہ تعالٰی تم میں اور تمہارے دشمنوں میں محبت پیدا کر دے اللہ کو سب قدرتیں ہیں اور اللہ ( بڑا ) غفور رحیم ہے ۔

Perhaps Allah will put, between you and those to whom you have been enemies among them, affection. And Allah is competent, and Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اے پیغمبر! جب مسلمان عورتیں آپ سے ان باتوں پر بیعت کرنے آئیں کہ وہ اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ کریں گی چوری نہ کریں گی زنا کاری نہ کریں گی اپنی اولاد کو نہ مار ڈالیں گی اور کوئی ایسا بہتان نہ باندھیں گی جو خود اپنے ہاتھوں پیروں کے سامنے گھڑ لیں اور کسی نیک کام میں تیری بے حکمی نہ کریں گی تو آپ ان سے بیعت کرلیا کریں اور ان کے لئے اللہ سے مغفرت طلب کریں بیشک اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے اور معاف کرنے والا ہے ۔

O Prophet, when the believing women come to you pledging to you that they will not associate anything with Allah , nor will they steal, nor will they commit unlawful sexual intercourse, nor will they kill their children, nor will they bring forth a slander they have invented between their arms and legs, nor will they disobey you in what is right - then accept their pledge and ask forgiveness for them of Allah . Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اے ایمان والو! تمہاری بعض بیویاں اور بعض بچے تمہارے دشمن ہیں پس ان سے ہوشیار رہنا اور اگر تم معاف کردو اور درگزر کر جاؤ اور بخش دو تو اللہ تعالٰی بخشنے والا مہربان ہے ۔

O you who have believed, indeed, among your wives and your children are enemies to you, so beware of them. But if you pardon and overlook and forgive - then indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

اے نبی! جس چیز کو اللہ نے آپ کے لئے حلال کر دیا ہے اسے آپ کیوں حرام کرتے ہیں؟ ( کیا ) آپ اپنی بیویوں کی رضامندی حاصل کرنا چاہتے ہیں اور اللہ بخشنے والا رحم کرنے والا ہے ۔

O Prophet, why do you prohibit [yourself from] what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking the approval of your wives? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.
