And if We had willed, we could have elevated him thereby, but he adhered [instead] to the earth and followed his own desire. So his example is like that of the dog: if you chase him, he pants, or if you leave him, he [still] pants. That is the example of the people who denied Our signs. So relate the stories that perhaps they will give thought.
Aur agar hum chahatay to uss ko inn aayaton ki badolat buland martaba ker detay lekin woh to duniya ki taraf maeel hogaya aur apni nafsaani khuwaish ki pairwi kerney laga so uss ki halat kuttay ki si hogaee kay agar tu iss per hamla keray tab bhi haanpay ya uss ko chor dey tab bhi haanpay yehi halat unn logon ki hai jinhon ney humari aayaton ko jhutlaya. So aap iss haal ko biyan ker dijiye shayad woh log kuch sochen.
और अगर हम चाहते तो उसको उन आयतों के ज़रिए से बुलंदी अता करते मगर वह तो ज़मीन का हो रहा और अपनी ख़्वाहिशों की पैरवी करने लगा, पस उसकी मिसाल कुत्ते की सी है कि अगर तुम उस पर बोझ लाद दो तब भी हाँपे और अगर छोड़ दो तब भी हाँपे, यह मिसाल उन लोगों की है जिन्होंने हमारी निशानियों को झुठलाया, पस आप ये वाक़िआत उनको सुनाओ ताकि वे सोचें।
And keep yourself patient [by being] with those who call upon their Lord in the morning and the evening, seeking His countenance. And let not your eyes pass beyond them, desiring adornments of the worldly life, and do not obey one whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance and who follows his desire and whose affair is ever [in] neglect.
Aur apney aap ko unhin kay sath rakha ker jo apney perwerdigar ko subha shaam pukartay hain aur ussi kay chehray kay iraday rakhtay hain ( raza mandi chahatay hain ) khabardaar! Teri nigahen unn say na hatney payen kay dunyawi zindagi kay thaath kay iraday mein lag jaa. Dekh uss ka kehna na manna jiss kay dil ko hum ney apney zikar say ghafil ker diya hai aur jo apni khuwaishon kay peechay para hua hai aur jiss ka kaam hadd say guzar chuka hai.
अपने आपको उन लोगों के साथ थाम रखो, जो प्रातःकाल और सायंकाल अपने रब को उस की प्रसन्नता चाहते हुए पुकारते हैं और सांसारिक जीवन की शोभा की चाह में तुम्हारी आँखें उन से न फिरें। और ऐसे व्यक्ति की बात न मानना जिस के दिल को हम ने अपनी याद से ग़ाफ़िल पाया है और वह अपनी इच्छा और वासना के पीछे लगा हुआ है और उस का मामला हद से आगे बढ़ गया है
So do not let one avert you from it who does not believe in it and follows his desire, for you [then] would perish.
Pus abb iss kay yaqeen say tujhay koi aisa shaks rok na dey jo iss per eman na rakhta ho aur apni khuawish kay peechay para ho werna tu halak ho jaye ga.
अतः जो कोई उसपर ईमान नहीं लाता और अपनी वासना के पीछे पड़ा है, वह तुझे उस से रोक न दे, अन्यथा तू विनष्ट हो जाएगा
Have you seen the one who takes as his god his own desire? Then would you be responsible for him?
Kiya aap ney ussay bhi dekha jo apni khwais-e-nafs ko apna mabood banaye huye hai kiya aap uss kay zimay daar ho saktay hain?
क्या तुम ने उस को भी देखा, जिस ने अपना प्रभु अपनी (तुच्छ) इच्छा को बना रखा है? तो क्या तुम उस का ज़िम्मा ले सकते हो
But if they do not respond to you - then know that they only follow their [own] desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah ? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.
Phir agar yeh teri na maney to tu yaqeen ker lay kay yeh sirf apni khuwaish ki pairwee ker rahey hain. Aur uss say barh ker behka hua kaun hai? Jo apni khuwaish kay peechay para hua ho baghair Allah ki rehnumaee kay be-shak Allah Taalaa zalim logon ko hidayat nahi deta.
अब यदि वे तुम्हारी माँग पूरी न करें तो जान लो कि वे केवल अपनी इच्छाओं के पीछे चलते हैं। और उस व्यक्ति से बढ़कर भटका हुआ कौन होगा जो अल्लाह की ओर से किसी मार्गदर्शन के बिना अपनी इच्छा पर चले? निश्चय ही अल्लाह ज़ालिम लोगों को मार्ग नहीं दिखाता
Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah ? Then will you not be reminded?
Kiya aap ney ussay bhi dekha? Jiss ney apni khuwaish-e-nafas ko apna mabood bana rakha hai aur bawajood samjh boojh kay Allah ney ussay gumrah ker diya hai aur uss kay kaan aur dil per mohar laga di hai aur uss ki aankh per bhi pardah daal diya hai abb aisay shaks ko Allah kay baad kon hidayat day sakta hai.
क्या तुम ने उस व्यक्ति को नहीं देखा जिस ने अपनी इच्छा ही को अपना उपास्य बना लिया? अल्लाह ने (उस की स्थिति) जानते हुए उसे गुमराही में डाल दिया, और उस के कान और उस के दिल पर ठप्पा लगा दिया और उस की आँखों पर परदा डाल दिया। फिर अब अल्लाह के पश्चात कौन उसे मार्ग पर ला सकता है? तो क्या तुम शिक्षा नहीं ग्रहण करते?
