سورة المائدة

کیا یہ لوگ پھر سے جاہلیت کا فیصلہ چاہتے ہیں یقین رکھنے والے لوگوں کے لئے اللہ تعالٰی سے بہتر فیصلے اور حکم کرنے والا کون ہو سکتا ہے ۔

Then is it the judgement of [the time of] ignorance they desire? But who is better than Allah in judgement for a people who are certain [in faith].

اے ایمان والو! تم یہود و نصاریٰ کو دوست نہ بناؤ یہ تو آپس میں ہی ایک دوسرے کے دوست ہیں ۔ تم میں سے جو بھی ان میں سے کسی سے دوستی کرے وہ بے شک انہی میں سے ہے ، ظالموں کو اللہ تعالٰی ہرگز راہ راست نہیں دکھاتا ۔

O you who have believed, do not take the Jews and the Christians as allies. They are [in fact] allies of one another. And whoever is an ally to them among you - then indeed, he is [one] of them. Indeed, Allah guides not the wrongdoing people.

آپ دیکھیں گے کہ جن کے دلوں میں بیماری ہے وہ دوڑ دوڑ کر ان میں گھس رہے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ ہمیں خطرہ ہے ، ایسا نہ ہو کہ کوئی حادثہ ہم پر پڑ جائے بہت ممکن ہے کہ اللہ تعالٰی فتح دے دے یا اپنے پاس سے کوئی اور چیز لائے پھر تو یہ اپنے دلوں میں چھپائی ہوئی باتوں پر ( بے طرح ) نادم ہونے لگیں گے ۔

So you see those in whose hearts is disease hastening into [association with] them, saying, "We are afraid a misfortune may strike us." But perhaps Allah will bring conquest or a decision from Him, and they will become, over what they have been concealing within themselves, regretful.

اور ایمان والے کہیں گے ، کیا یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو بڑے مبالغہ سے اللہ کی قسمیں کھا کھا کر کہتے ہیں کہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ ہیں ۔ ان کے اعمال غارت ہوئے اور یہ ناکام ہوگئے ۔

And those who believe will say, "Are these the ones who swore by Allah their strongest oaths that indeed they were with you?" Their deeds have become worthless, and they have become losers.

اے ایمان والو! تم میں سے جو شخص اپنے دین سے پھر جائے تو اللہ تعالٰی بہت جلد ایسی قوم کو لائے گا جو اللہ کی محبوب ہوگی اور وہ بھی اللہ سے محبت رکھتی ہوگی وہ نرم دل ہوں گے مسلمانوں پر اور سخت اور تیز ہو ں گے کفار پر ، اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کریں گے اور کسی ملامت کرنے والے کی ملامت کی پرواہ بھی نہ کریں گے یہ ہے اللہ تعالٰی کا فضل جسے چاہے دے ، اللہ تعالٰی بڑی وسعت والا اور زبردست علم والا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, whoever of you should revert from his religion - Allah will bring forth [in place of them] a people He will love and who will love Him [who are] humble toward the believers, powerful against the disbelievers; they strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of a critic. That is the favor of Allah ; He bestows it upon whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.

۔ ( مسلمانوں ) ! تمہارا دوست خود اللہ ہے اور اسکا رسول ہے اور ایمان والے ہیں جو نمازوں کی پابندی کرتے ہیں اور زکوۃ ادا کرتے ہیں اور وہ ر کوع ( خشوع و خضوع ) کرنے والے ہیں ۔

Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed - those who establish prayer and give zakah, and they bow [in worship].

اور جو شخص اللہ تعالٰی سے اور اس کے رسول سے اور مسلمانوں سے دوستی کرے ، وہ یقین مانے کہ اللہ تعالٰی کی جماعت ہی غالب رہے گی ۔

And whoever is an ally of Allah and His Messenger and those who have believed - indeed, the party of Allah - they will be the predominant.

مسلمانو! ان لوگوں کو دوست نہ بناؤ جو تمہارے دین کو ہنسی کھیل بنائے ہوئے ہیں ( خواہ ) وہ ان میں سے ہوں جو تم سے پہلے کتاب دیئے گئے یا کفار ہوں اگر تم مومن ہو تو اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرتے رہو ۔

O you who have believed, take not those who have taken your religion in ridicule and amusement among the ones who were given the Scripture before you nor the disbelievers as allies. And fear Allah , if you should [truly] be believers.

اور جب تم نماز کے لئے پکارتے ہو تو وہ اسے ہنسی کھیل ٹھرا لیتے ہیں یہ اس واسطے کہ بے عقل ہیں ۔

And when you call to prayer, they take it in ridicule and amusement. That is because they are a people who do not use reason.

آپ کہہ دیجئے اے یہودیوں اور نصرانیوں! تم ہم سے صرف اس وجہ سے دشمنیاں کر رہے ہو کہ ہم اللہ تعالٰی پر اور جو کچھ ہماری جانب نازل کیا گیا ہے جو کچھ اس سے پہلے اتارا گیا ہے اس پر ایمان لائے ہیں اور اس لئے بھی کہ تم میں اکثر فاسق ہیں ۔

Say, "O People of the Scripture, do you resent us except [for the fact] that we have believed in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed before and because most of you are defiantly disobedient?"

کہہ دیجئے کہ کیا میں تمہیں بتاؤں؟ کہ اس سے بھی زیادہ برے اجر پانے والا اللہ تعالٰی کے نزدیک کون ہے؟ وہ جس پر اللہ تعالٰی نے لعنت کی اور اس پر وہ غصہ ہو اور ان میں سے بعض کو بندر اور سور بنا دیا اور جنہوں نے معبودان باطل کی پرستش کی ، یہی لوگ بدتر درجے والے ہیں اور یہی راہ راست سے بہت زیادہ بھٹکنے والے ہیں ۔

Say, "Shall I inform you of [what is] worse than that as penalty from Allah ? [It is that of] those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He became angry and made of them apes and pigs and slaves of Taghut. Those are worse in position and further astray from the sound way."

اور جب تمہارے پاس آتے ہیں تو کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ایمان لائے حالانکہ وہ کفر لئے ہوئے ہی آئے تھے اسی کفر کے ساتھ ہی گئے بھی اور یہ جو کچھ چھپا رہے ہیں اسے اللہ تعالٰی خوب جانتا ہے ۔

And when they come to you, they say, "We believe." But they have entered with disbelief [in their hearts], and they have certainly left with it. And Allah is most knowing of what they were concealing.

آپ دیکھیں گے کہ ان میں سے اکثر گناہ کے کاموں کی طرف اور ظلم و زیادتی کی طرف اور مال حرام کھانے کی طرف لپک رہے ہیں ، جو کچھ یہ کر رہے ہیں وہ نہایت برے کام ہیں ۔

And you see many of them hastening into sin and aggression and the devouring of [what is] unlawful. How wretched is what they have been doing.

انہیں ان کے عابد و عالم جھوٹ باتوں کے کہنے اور حرام چیزوں کے کھانے سے کیوں نہیں روکتے بے شک برا کام ہے جو یہ کر رہے ہیں ۔

Why do the rabbis and religious scholars not forbid them from saying what is sinful and devouring what is unlawful? How wretched is what they have been practicing.

اور یہودیوں نے کہا کہ اللہ تعالٰی کے ہاتھ بندھے ہوئے ہیں انہی کے ہاتھ بندھے ہوئے ہیں اور ان کے اس قول کی وجہ سے ان پر لعنت کی گئی ، بلکہ اللہ تعالٰی کے دونوں ہاتھ کھلے ہوئے ہیں جس طرح چاہتا ہے خرچ کرتا ہے اور جو کچھ تیری طرف تیرے رب کی جانب سے اتارا جاتا ہے وہ ان میں سے اکثر کو تو سرکشی اور کفر میں اور بڑھا دیتا ہے اور ہم نے ان میں آپس میں ہی قیامت تک کے لئے عداوت اور بغض ڈال دیا ہے ، جب کبھی لڑائی کی آگ کو بھڑکانا چاہتے ہیں تو اللہ تعالٰی اسے بجھا دیتا ہے ۔ یہ ملک بھر میں شر اور فساد مچاتے پھرتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالٰی فسادیوں سے محبت نہیں کرتا ۔

And the Jews say, "The hand of Allah is chained." Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And We have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allah does not like corrupters.

اور اگر یہ اہل کتاب ایمان لاتے اور تقویٰ اختیار کرتے تو ہم ان کی تمام برائیاں معاف فرما دیتے اور ضرور انہیں راحت و آرام کی جنتوں میں لے جاتے ۔

And if only the People of the Scripture had believed and feared Allah , We would have removed from them their misdeeds and admitted them to Gardens of Pleasure.

اور اگر یہ لوگ توراۃ و انجیل اور ان کی جانب جو کچھ اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف سے نازل فرمایا گیا ہے ان کے پورے پابند رہتے تو یہ لوگ اپنے اوپر سے اور نیچے سے روزیاں پاتے اور کھاتے ایک جماعت تو ان میں سے درمیانہ روش کی ہے ، باقی ان میں سے بہت سے لوگوں کے برے اعمال ہیں ۔

And if only they upheld [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to them from their Lord, they would have consumed [provision] from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them are a moderate community, but many of them - evil is that which they do.

اے رسول جو کچھ بھی آپ کی طرف آپ کے رب کی جانب سے نازل کیا گیا ہے پہنچا دیجئے ۔ اگر آپ نے ایسا نہ کیا تو آپ نے اللہ کی رسالت ادا نہیں کی اور آپ کو اللہ تعالٰی لوگوں سے بچا لے گا بے شک اللہ تعالٰی کافر لوگوں کو ہدایت نہیں دیتا ۔

O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ اے اہل کتاب! تم دراصل کسی چیز پر نہیں جب تک کہ تورات و انجیل کو اور جو کچھ تمہاری طرف تمہارے رب کی طرف سے اتارا گیا ہے قائم نہ کرو ، جو کچھ آپ کی جانب آپ کے رب کی طرف سے اترا ہے وہ ان میں سے بہتوں کو شرارت اور انکار میں اور بھی بڑھائے گا ہی تو آپ ان کافروں پر غمگین نہ ہوں ۔

Say, "O People of the Scripture, you are [standing] on nothing until you uphold [the law of] the Torah, the Gospel, and what has been revealed to you from your Lord." And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. So do not grieve over the disbelieving people.

مسلمان ، یہودی ، ستارہ پرست اور نصرانی کوئی ہو ، جو بھی اللہ تعالٰی پر اور قیامت کے دن پر ایمان لائے اور نیک عمل کرے وہ محض بے خوف رہے گا اور بالکل بے غم ہو جائے گا ۔

Indeed, those who have believed [in Prophet Muhammad] and those [before Him] who were Jews or Sabeans or Christians - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.

ہم نے بالیقین بنو اسرائیل سے عہد و پیمان لیا اور ان کی طرف رسولوں کو بھیجا ، جب کبھی رسول ان کے پاس وہ احکام لے کر آئے جو ان کی اپنی منشاء کے خلاف تھے تو انہوں نے ان کی ایک جماعت کی تکذیب کی اور ایک جماعت کو قتل کر دیا ۔

We had already taken the covenant of the Children of Israel and had sent to them messengers. Whenever there came to them a messenger with what their souls did not desire, a party [of messengers] they denied, and another party they killed.

اور سمجھ بیٹھے کہ کوئی پکڑ نہ ہوگی پس اندھے بہرے بن بیٹھے ، پھر اللہ تعالٰی نے ان کی توبہ قبول کی اس کے بعد بھی ان میں سے اکثر اندھے بہرے ہوگئے اللہ تعالٰی ان کے اعمال کو بخوبی دیکھنے والا ہے ۔

And they thought there would be no [resulting] punishment, so they became blind and deaf. Then Allah turned to them in forgiveness; then [again] many of them became blind and deaf. And Allah is Seeing of what they do.

بیشک وہ لوگ کافر ہوگئے جن کا قول ہے کہ مسیح ابن مریم ہی اللہ ہے حالانکہ خود مسیح نے کہا تھا کہ اے بنی اسرائیل اللہ ہی کی عبادت کرو جو میرا اور تمہارا سب کا رب ہے ، یقین مانو کہ جو شخص اللہ کے ساتھ شریک کرتا ہے اللہ تعالٰی نے اس پر جنت حرام کر دی ہے ، اس کا ٹھکانا جہنم ہی ہے اور گنہگاروں کی مدد کرنے والا کوئی نہیں ہوگا ۔

They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the Messiah, the son of Mary" while the Messiah has said, "O Children of Israel, worship Allah , my Lord and your Lord." Indeed, he who associates others with Allah - Allah has forbidden him Paradise, and his refuge is the Fire. And there are not for the wrongdoers any helpers.

وہ لوگ بھی قطعاً کافر ہوگئے جنہوں نے کہا ، اللہ تین میں سے تیسرا ہے دراصل اللہ تعالٰی کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ۔ اگر یہ لوگ اپنے اس قول سے باز نہ رہے تو ان میں سے جو کفر پر رہیں گے ، انہیں المناک عذاب ضرور پہنچے گا ۔

They have certainly disbelieved who say, " Allah is the third of three." And there is no god except one God. And if they do not desist from what they are saying, there will surely afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment.

یہ لوگ کیوں اللہ تعالٰی کی طرف نہیں جھکتے اور کیوں استغفار نہیں کرتے؟ اللہ تعالٰی تو بہت ہی بخشنے والا اور بڑا ہی مہربان ہے ۔

So will they not repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness? And Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

مسیح ابن مریم سوا پیغمبر ہونے کے اور کچھ بھی نہیں ، اس سے پہلے بھی بہت سے پیغمبر ہو چکے ہیں ان کی والدہ ایک راست باز عورت تھیں دونوں ماں بیٹےکھانا کھایا کرتے تھے آپ دیکھئے کہ کس طرح ہم ان کے سامنے دلیلیں رکھتے ہیں اور پھر غور کیجئے کہ کس طرح وہ پھرے جاتے ہیں ۔

The Messiah, son of Mary, was not but a messenger; [other] messengers have passed on before him. And his mother was a supporter of truth. They both used to eat food. Look how We make clear to them the signs; then look how they are deluded.

آپ کہہ دیجئے کہ تم اللہ کے سوا ان کی عبادت کرتے ہو جو نہ تمہارے کسی نقصان کے مالک ہیں نہ کسی نفع کے ۔ اللہ ہی خوب سننے اور پوری طرح جاننے والا ہے

Say, "Do you worship besides Allah that which holds for you no [power of] harm or benefit while it is Allah who is the Hearing, the Knowing?"

کہہ دیجئے اے اہل کتاب! اپنے دین میں ناحق غلو اور زیادتی نہ کرو اور ان لوگوں کی نفسانی خواہشوں کی پیروی نہ کرو جو پہلے سے بہک چکے ہیں اور بہتوں کو بہکا بھی چکے ہیں اور سیدھی راہ سے ہٹ گئے ہیں ۔

Say, "O People of the Scripture, do not exceed limits in your religion beyond the truth and do not follow the inclinations of a people who had gone astray before and misled many and have strayed from the soundness of the way."

بنی اسرائیل کے کافروں پر ( حضرت ) داؤد ( علیہ السلام ) اور ( حضرت ) عیسیٰ بن مریم ( علیہ السلام ) کی زبانی لعنت کی گئی اس وجہ سے کہ وہ نافرمانیاں کرتے تھے اور حد سے آگے بڑھ جاتے تھے ۔

Cursed were those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel by the tongue of David and of Jesus, the son of Mary. That was because they disobeyed and [habitually] transgressed.

آپس میں ایک دوسرے کو برے کاموں سے جو وہ کرتے تھے روکتے نہ تھے جو کچھ بھی یہ کرتے تھے یقیناً وہ بہت برا تھا ۔

They used not to prevent one another from wrongdoing that they did. How wretched was that which they were doing.

ان میں سے بہت سے لوگوں کو آپ دیکھیں گے کہ وہ کافروں سے دوستیاں کرتے ہیں ، جو کچھ انہوں نے اپنے لئے آگے بھیج رکھا ہے وہ بہت برا ہے کہ اللہ تعالٰی ان سے ناراض ہوا اور وہ ہمیشہ عذاب میں رہیں گے

You see many of them becoming allies of those who disbelieved. How wretched is that which they have put forth for themselves in that Allah has become angry with them, and in the punishment they will abide eternally.

اگر انہیں اللہ تعالٰی پر اور نبی پر اور جو نازل کیا گیا ہے اس پر ایمان ہوتا تو یہ کفار سے دوستیاں نہ کرتے ، لیکن ان میں کے اکژ لوگ فاسق ہیں ۔

And if they had believed in Allah and the Prophet and in what was revealed to him, they would not have taken them as allies; but many of them are defiantly disobedient.

یقیناً آپ ایمان والوں کا سب سے زیادہ دشمن یہودیوں اور مشرکوں کو پائیں گے اور ایمان والوں سےسب سے زیادہ دوستی کے قریب آپ یقیناً انہیں پائیں گے جو اپنے آپ کو نصاریٰ کہتے ہیں ، یہ اس لئے کہ ان میں علماء اور عبادت کے لئے گوشہ نشین افراد پائے جاتے ہیں اور اس وجہ سے کہ وہ تکبر نہیں کرتے ۔

You will surely find the most intense of the people in animosity toward the believers [to be] the Jews and those who associate others with Allah ; and you will find the nearest of them in affection to the believers those who say, "We are Christians." That is because among them are priests and monks and because they are not arrogant.

اور جب وہ رسول کی طرف نازل کردہ ( کلام ) کو سنتے ہیں تو آپ ان کی آنکھیں آنسو سے بہتی ہوئی دیکھتے ہیں اس سبب سے کہ انہوں نے حق کو پہچان لیا ، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اے ہمارے رب! ہم ایمان لے آئے پس تو ہم کو بھی ان لوگوں کے ساتھ لکھ لے جو تصدیق کرتے ہیں ۔

And when they hear what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears because of what they have recognized of the truth. They say, "Our Lord, we have believed, so register us among the witnesses.

اور ہمارے پاس کون سا عذر ہے کہ ہم اللہ تعالٰی پر اور جو حق ہم کو پہنچا ہے اس پر ایمان نہ لائیں اور ہم اس بات کی امید رکھتے ہیں کہ ہمارا رب ہم کو نیک لوگوں کی رفاقت میں داخل کر دے گا

And why should we not believe in Allah and what has come to us of the truth? And we aspire that our Lord will admit us [to Paradise] with the righteous people."

اس لئے ان کو اللہ تعالٰی ان کے اس قول کی وجہ سے ایسے باغ دے گا جن کے نیچے نہریں جاری ہوں گی یہ ان میں ہمیشہ ہمیشہ رہیں گے اور نیک لوگوں کا یہی بدلہ ہے ۔

So Allah rewarded them for what they said with gardens [in Paradise] beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of doers of good.

اور جن لوگوں نے کفر کیا اور ہماری آیات کو جھٹلاتے رہے وہ لوگ دوزخ والے ہیں ۔

But those who disbelieved and denied Our signs - they are the companions of Hellfire.

اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالٰی نے جو پاکیزہ چیزیں تمہارے واسطے حلال کی ہیں ان کو حرام مت کرو اور حد سے آگے مت نکلو ، بیشک اللہ تعالٰی حد سے نکلنے والوں کو پسند نہیں کرتا ۔

O you who have believed, do not prohibit the good things which Allah has made lawful to you and do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not like transgressors.

اور اللہ تعالٰی نے جو چیزیں تم کو دی ہیں ان میں سے حلال مرغوب چیزیں کھاؤ اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرو جس پر تم ایمان رکھتے ہو ۔

And eat of what Allah has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And fear Allah , in whom you are believers.

اللہ تعالٰی تمہاری قسموں میں لغو قسم پر تم سے مواخذہ نہیں فرماتا لیکن مواخذہ اس پر فرماتا ہے کہ تم جن قسموں کو مضبوط کر دو اس کا کفارہ دس محتاجوں کو کھانا دینا ہے اوسط درجے کا جو اپنے گھر والوں کو کھلاتے ہو یا ان کو کپڑا دینا یا ایک غلام یا لونڈی آزاد کر نا ہے اور جس کو مقدور نہ ہو تو تین دن کے روزے ہیں یہ تمہاری قسموں کا کفارہ ہے جب کہ تم قسم کھا لو اور اپنی قسموں کا خیال رکھو! اسی طرح اللہ تعالٰی تمہارے واسطے اپنے احکام بیان فرماتا ہے تاکہ تم شکر کرو ۔

Allah will not impose blame upon you for what is meaningless in your oaths, but He will impose blame upon you for [breaking] what you intended of oaths. So its expiation is the feeding of ten needy people from the average of that which you feed your [own] families or clothing them or the freeing of a slave. But whoever cannot find [or afford it] - then a fast of three days [is required]. That is the expiation for oaths when you have sworn. But guard your oaths. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be grateful.

اے ایمان والو! بات یہی ہے کہ شراب اور جوا اور تھان اور فال نکالنے کے پانسے کے تیرپہ سب گندی باتیں ، شیطانی کام ہیں ان سے بالکل الگ رہو تاکہ تم فلاح یاب ہو

O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.

شیطان تو یوں چاہتا ہے کہ شراب اور جوئے کہ ذریعے سے تمہارے آپس میں عداوت اور بغض واقع کرا دے اور اللہ تعالٰی کی یاد سے اور نماز سے تم کو باز رکھے سو اب بھی باز آجاؤ ۔

Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not desist?

تم اللہ تعالٰی کی اطاعت کرتے رہو اور رسول کی اطاعت کرتے رہو اور احتیاط رکھو ۔ اگر اعراض کرو گے تو یہ جان رکھو کہ ہمارے رسول کے ذمہ صرف صاف صاف پہنچا دینا ہے ۔

And obey Allah and obey the Messenger and beware. And if you turn away - then know that upon Our Messenger is only [the responsibility for] clear notification.

ایسے لوگوں پر جو کہ ایمان رکھتے ہوں اور نیک کام کرتے ہوں اس چیز میں کوئی گناہ نہیں جس کو وہ کھاتے پیتے ہوں جب کہ وہ لوگ تقویٰ رکھتے ہوں اور ایمان رکھتے ہوں اور نیک کام کرتے ہوں پھر پرہیز گاری کرتے ہوں اور خوب نیک عمل کرتے ہوں ، اللہ ایسے نیکوکاروں سے محبت رکھتا ہے

There is not upon those who believe and do righteousness [any] blame concerning what they have eaten [in the past] if they [now] fear Allah and believe and do righteous deeds, and then fear Allah and believe, and then fear Allah and do good; and Allah loves the doers of good.

اے ایمان والو! اللہ تعالٰی قدرے شکار سے تمہارا امتحان کرے گا جن تک تمہارے ہاتھ اور تمہارے نیزے پہنچ سکیں گے تاکہ اللہ تعالٰی معلوم کرلے کہ کون شخص اس سے بن دیکھے ڈرتا ہے سو جو شخص اس کے بعد حد سے نکلے گا اس کے واسطے دردناک سزا ہے ۔

O you who have believed, Allah will surely test you through something of the game that your hands and spears [can] reach, that Allah may make evident those who fear Him unseen. And whoever transgresses after that - for him is a painful punishment.

اے ایمان والو! ( وحشی ) شکار کو قتل مت کرو جب کہ تم حالت احرام میں ہو اور جو شخص تم میں سے اس کو جان بوجھ کر قتل کرے گا تو اس پر فدیہ واجب ہوگا جو کہ مساوی ہوگا اس جانور کے جس کو اس نے قتل کیا ہے جس کا فیصلہ تم میں سے دو معتبر شخص کر دیں خواہ وہ فدیہ خاص چوپایوں میں سے ہو جو نیاز کے طور پر کعبہ تک پہنچایا جائے اور خواہ کفارہ مساکین کو دے دیا جائے اور خواہ اس کے برابر روزے رکھ لئے جائیں تاکہ اپنے کئے کی شامت کا مزہ چکھے ، اللہ تعالٰی نے گزشتہ کو معاف کر دیا اور جو شخص پھر ایسی ہی حرکت کرے گا تو اللہ انتقام لے گا اور اللہ زبردست ہے انتقام لینے والا ۔

O you who have believed, do not kill game while you are in the state of ihram. And whoever of you kills it intentionally - the penalty is an equivalent from sacrificial animals to what he killed, as judged by two just men among you as an offering [to Allah ] delivered to the Ka'bah, or an expiation: the feeding of needy people or the equivalent of that in fasting, that he may taste the consequence of his deed. Allah has pardoned what is past; but whoever returns [to violation], then Allah will take retribution from him. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution.

تمہارے لئے دریا کا شکار پکڑنا اور اس کا کھانا حلال کیا گیا ہے تمہارے فائدے کے واسطے اور مسافروں کے واسطے اور خشکی کا شکار پکڑنا تمہارے لئے حرام کیا گیا ہے جب تک تم حالت احرام میں رہو اور اللہ تعالٰی سے ڈرو جس کے پاس جمع کئے جاؤ گے ۔

Lawful to you is game from the sea and its food as provision for you and the travelers, but forbidden to you is game from the land as long as you are in the state of ihram. And fear Allah to whom you will be gathered.

اللہ نے کعبہ کو جو کہ ادب کا مکان ہے لوگوں کے قائم رہنے کا سبب قرار دے دیا اور عزت والے مہینہ کو بھی اور حرم میں قربانی ہونے والے جانور کو بھی اور ان جانوروں کو بھی جن کے گلے میں پٹے ہوں یہ اس لئے تاکہ تم اس بات کا یقین کر لو کہ بے شک اللہ تعالٰی تمام آسمانوں اور زمین کے اندر کی چیزوں کا علم رکھتا ہے اور بے شک اللہ سب چیزوں کو خوب جانتا ہے ۔

Allah has made the Ka'bah, the Sacred House, standing for the people and [has sanctified] the sacred months and the sacrificial animals and the garlands [by which they are identified]. That is so you may know that Allah knows what is in the heavens and what is in the earth and that Allah is Knowing of all things.

تم یقین جانو کہ اللہ تعالٰی سزا بھی سخت دینے والا ہے اور اللہ تعالٰی بڑی مغفرت اور بڑی رحمت والا بھی ہے

Know that Allah is severe in penalty and that Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

رسول کے ذمہ تو صرف پہنچانا ہے ۔ اور اللہ تعالٰی سب جانتا ہے جو کچھ تم ظاہر کرتے ہو اور جو کچھ پوشیدہ رکھتے ہو ۔

Not upon the Messenger is [responsibility] except [for] notification. And Allah knows whatever you reveal and whatever you conceal.
