And We have certainly distributed it among them that they might be reminded, but most of the people refuse except disbelief.
Aur be-shak hum ney issay unn kay darmiyan tarah tarah say biyan kiya takay woh naseehat hasil keren magar phir bhi aksar logon ney siwaye na-shukri kay mana nahi.
उसे हम ने उन के बीच विभिन्न ढ़ंग से पेश किया है, ताकि वे ध्यान दें। परन्तु अधिकतर लोगों ने इनकार और अकृतज्ञता के अतिरिक्त दूसरी नीति अपनाने से इनकार ही किया
And if We had willed, We could have sent into every city a warner.
Agar hum chahatay to her her basti mein darney wala bhej detay.
यदि हम चाहते तो हर बस्ती में एक डराने वाला भेज देते
So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with the Qur'an a great striving.
Pus aap kafiron ka kehna na manen aur quran kay zariye inn say poori taqat say bara jihad keren.
अतः इनकार करने वालों की बात न मानता और इस (क़ुरआन) के द्वारा उन से जिहाद करो, बड़ा जिहाद! (जी तोड़ कोशिश)
And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.
Aur wohi hai jiss ney do samandar aapas mein mila rakhay hain yeh hai meetha aur mazedaar aur yeh hai khaari kerwa aur inn dono kay darmiyan aik hijab aur mazboot oot kerdi.
वही है जिस ने दो समुद्रों को मिलाया। यह स्वादिष्ट और मीठा है और यह खारी और कडुआ। और दोनों के बीच उस ने एक परदा डाल दिया है और एक पृथक करने वाली रोक रख दी है
And it is He who has created from water a human being and made him [a relative by] lineage and marriage. And ever is your Lord competent [concerning creation].
Woh hai jiss ney pani say insan ko peda kiya phir issay nasab wala aur susrali rishton wala ker diya. Bila shuba aap ka perwerdigar ( her cheez per ) qadir hai.
और वही है जिस ने पानी से एक मनुष्य पैदा किया। फिर उसे वंशगत सम्बन्धों और ससुराली रिश्ते वाला बनाया। तुम्हारा रब बड़ा ही सामर्थ्यवान है
But they worship rather than Allah that which does not benefit them or harm them, and the disbeliever is ever, against his Lord, an assistant [to Satan].
Yeh Allah ko chor ker unn ki ibadat kertay hain jo na to enhen koi nafa dey saken na koi nuksan phonca saken aur kafir to hay hi apna rab kay khilaf ( shetan ki ) madad kerney wala.
अल्लाह से इतर वे उन को पूजते हैं जो न उन्हें लाभ पहुँचा सकते हैं और न ही उन्हें हानि पहुँचा सकते हैं। और ऊपर से यह भी कि इनकार करने वाला अपने रब का विरोधी और उस के मुक़ाबले में दूसरों का सहायक बना हुआ है
And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a bringer of good tidings and a warner.
Hum ney to aap ko khush khabri aur darr sunaney wala ( nabi ) bana ker bheja hai.
और हम ने तो तुम को शुभ-सूचना देने वाला और सचेतकर्ता बनाकर भेजा है।
Say, "I do not ask of you for it any payment - only that whoever wills might take to his Lord a way."
Keh dijiye kay mein quran kay phonchaney per tum say koi badla nahi chahata magar jo shaks apnay rab ki taraf raah pakarna chahye.
कह दो, "मैं इस काम पर तुम से कोई बदला नहीं माँगता सिवाय इस के कि जो कोई चाहे अपने रब की ओर ले जाने वाला मार्ग अपना ले।"
And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [ Allah ] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted -
ay Allah Taalaa per tawakkal keren jissay kabhi maut nahi aur uss ki tareef kay sath pakeezgi biyan kertay rahen woh apney bandon kay gunahon say kafi khabardaar hai
और उस अल्लाह पर भरोसा करो जो जीवन्त और अमर है और उस का गुणगान करो। वह अपने बन्दों के गुनाहों की ख़बर रखने के लिए काफ़ी है
He who created the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days and then established Himself above the Throne - the Most Merciful, so ask about Him one well informed.
Wohi hai jiss aasmano aur zamin aur inn kay darmiyan ki sab cheezon ko cheh din mein peda ker diya hai phir arsh per mustawi hua woh rehman hai aap iss ka baray mein kissi khabar daar say pooch len.
जिस ने आकाशों और धरती को और जो कुछ उन दोनों के बीच है छह दिनों में पैदा किया, फिर सिंहासन पर विराजमान हुआ। रहमान है वह! अतः पूछो उस से जो उस की ख़बर रखता है
And when it is said to them, "Prostrate to the Most Merciful," they say, "And what is the Most Merciful? Should we prostrate to that which you order us?" And it increases them in aversion.
Inn say jabb bhi kaha jata hai kay rehman ko sajda kero to jawab detay hain rehman hai kiya? Kiya hum ussay sajda keren jiss ka tu humen hukum dey raha hai aur iss ( tableegh ) ney unn ki nafrat mein mazeed izafa ker diya.
उन लोगों से जब कहा जाता है कि "रहमान को सजदा करो" तो वे कहते हैं, "और रहमान क्या होता है? क्या जिसे तू हम से कह दे उसी को हम सजदा करने लगें?" और यह चीज़ उन की घृणा को और बढ़ा देती है
Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon.
Ba-barkat hai woh jiss ney aasman mein burj banaye aur iss mein aftab banaya aur munawar mahtab bhi.
बड़ी बरकत वाला है वह, जिस ने आकाश में बुर्ज (नक्षत्र) बनाए और उस में एक चिराग़ और एक चमकता चाँद बनाया
And it is He who has made the night and the day in succession for whoever desires to remember or desires gratitude.
Aur ussi ney raat aur din ko aik doosray kay peechay aaney janey wala banaya uss shaks ki naseehat kay liye jo naseehat hasil kerney ya shukar guzari kerney ka irada rakhta ho.
और वही है जिस ने रात और दिन को एक-दूसरे के पीछे आने वाला बनाया, उस व्यक्ति के लिए (निशानी) जो चेतना चाहे या कृतज्ञ होना चाहे
And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace,
Rehman kay ( sachay ) banday woh hain jo zamin per farotni kay sath chaltay hain aur jab bey ilm log inn say baten kerney lagtay hain to woh keh detay hain kay salam hai.
रहमान के (प्रिय) बन्दें वहीं हैं जो धरती पर नम्रतापूर्वक चलते हैं और जब जाहिल उन के मुँह आएँ तो कह देते हैं, "तुमको सलाम!"
And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer]
Aur jo apnay rab kay samney sajday aur qayam kertay huye raten guzar detay hain.
जो अपने रब के आगे सजदे में और खड़े रातें गुज़ारते हैं;
And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell. Indeed, its punishment is ever adhering;
Aur jo yeh dua kertay hain kay aey humaray perwerdigar! Hum say dozakh ka azab paray hi paray rakh kiyon kay iss ka azab chimat janey wala hai.
जो कहते हैं कि "ऐ हमारे रब! जहन्नम की यातना को हम से हटा दे।" निश्चय ही उन की यातना चिमटकर रहने वाली है
Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence."
Be-shak woh therney aur rehney kay lehaz say bad-tareen jagah hai.
निश्चय ही वह जगह ठहरने की दृष्टि से भी बुरी है और स्थान की दृष्टि से भी
And [they are] those who, when they spend, do so not excessively or sparingly but are ever, between that, [justly] moderate
Aur jo kharach kertay waqt bhi na to israaf kertay hain na bakheeli bulkay inn dono kay darmiyan motadil tareeqay per kharach kertay hain.
जो ख़र्च करते हैं तो न अपव्यय करते हैं और न ही तंगी से काम लेते हैं, बल्कि वे इन के बीच मध्यमार्ग पर रहते हैं
And those who do not invoke with Allah another deity or kill the soul which Allah has forbidden [to be killed], except by right, and do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse. And whoever should do that will meet a penalty.
Aur Allah kay sath kissi doosray ko mabood nahi pukartay aur kissi aisay shaks ko jissay qatal kerna Allah Taalaa ney mana ker diya ho woh ba-juz haq kay qatal nahi kertay na woh zinah kay muratkib hotay hain aur jo koi yeh kaam keray woh apnay upper sakht wabaal laye ga.
जो अल्लाह के साथ किसी दूसरे इष्ट-पूज्य को नहीं पुकारते और न नाहक़ किसी जीव को जिस (के क़त्ल) को अल्लाह ने हराम किया है, क़त्ल करते हैं। और न वे व्यभिचार करते हैं - जो कोई यह काम करे तो वह गुनाह के वबाल से दोचार होगा
Multiplied for him is the punishment on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein humiliated -
Issay qayamat kay din dogra azab kiya jayega aur woh zillat-o-khuwari kay sath hamesha ussi mein rahey ga.
क़ियामत के दिन उस की यातना बढ़ती चली जाएगी और वह उसी में अपमानित होकर स्थायी रूप से पड़ा रहेगा
Except for those who repent, believe and do righteous work. For them Allah will replace their evil deeds with good. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.
Siwaye unn logon kay jo tauba keren aur eman layen aur nek kaam keren aisay logon kay gunahon ko Allah Taalaa nekiyon say badal deta hai Allah bakhshney wala meharbaani kernay wala hai.
सिवाय उस के जो पलट आया और ईमान लाया और अच्छा कर्म किया, तो ऐसे लोगों की बुराइयों को अल्लाह भलाइयों से बदल देगा। और अल्लाह है भी अत्यन्त क्षमाशील, दयावान
And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance.
Aur jo shaks toba keray aur nek amal keray woh to ( haqeeqatan ) Allah Taalaa ki taraf sacha rujoo kerta hai.
और जिस ने तौबा की और अच्छा कर्म किया, तो निश्चय ही वह अल्लाह की ओर पलटता है, जैसा कि पलटने का हक़ है
And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity.
Aur jo log jhooti gawahee nahi detay aur jab kissi laghaw cheez per unn ka guzar hota hai to sharafat say guzar jatay hain.
जो किसी झूठ और असत्य में सम्मिलित नहीं होते और जब किसी व्यर्थ के कामों के पास से गुज़रते हैं, तो श्रेष्ठतापूर्वक गुज़र जाते हैं,
And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind.
Aur jab enhen unn kay rab kay kalam ki aayaten sunaee jati hain to woh andhay behray ho ker inn per nahi girtay.
जो ऐसे हैं कि जब उन के रब की आयतों के द्वारा उन्हें याददिहानी कराई जाती है तो उन (आयतों) पर वे अंधे और बहरे होकर नहीं गिरते।
And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."
Aur yeh dua kertay hain kay aey humaray perwerdigar! Tu humen humari biwiyon aur aulad say aankhon ki thandak ata farma aur humen perhezgaron ka paishwa bana.
और जो कहते हैं, "ऐ हमारे रब! हमें हमारी अपनी पत्नियों और हमारी संतान से आँखों की ठंडक प्रदान कर और हमें डर रखने वालों का नायक बना दे।"
Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace.
Yehi woh log hain jinhen unn kay sabar kay badlay jannat kay buland-o-bala khaney diye jayen gay jahan unhen dua salam phonchaya jayega.
यही वे लोग हैं जिन्हें, इस के बदले में कि वे जमे रहे, उच्च भवन प्राप्त होगा, तथा ज़िन्दाबाद और सलाम से उन का वहाँ स्वागत होगा
Abiding eternally therein. Good is the settlement and residence.
Uss mein yeh hamesha rahen gay woh boht hi achi jagah aur umdah moqam hai.
वहाँ वे सदैव रहेंगे। बहुत ही अच्छी है वह ठहरने की जगह और स्थान;
Say, "What would my Lord care for you if not for your supplication?" For you [disbelievers] have denied, so your denial is going to be adherent.
Keh dijiye! agar tumhari dua iltija ( pukarna ) na hoti to mera rab tumhari mutlaq perwa na kerta tum to jhutla chukay abb un-qareeb iss ki saza tumhen chimat janey wali hogi.
कह दो, "मेरे रब को तुम्हारी कोई परवाह नहीं अगर तुम (उस को) न पुकारो। अब जबकि तुम झुठला चुके हो, तो शीघ्र ही वह चीज़ चिमट जाने वाली होगी।"
